What’s your favorite pew pew you picked up this past year? Gotta say as far as pistols it would have to be the CZ Shadow 2 Compact I got from Brownells back in the Spring.

Advantages/disadvantages?
I was watching some BrassFacts videos about the PDW concept, but he mainly talks about it vs a rifle setup. What about a concealed PDW vs. a full sized handgun?

What scenarios do you think each are most appropriate? Which is more useful?

So I just noticed in my lease for the place im renting it says No firearms allowed on the property. Thought in MN landlords cant say you're not allowed to own firearms? Just wondering if I should go ahead and do so anyways or what.

I own S&W handguns, was thinking of getting M&P15 sportIII. Possibly keeping it in the S&W family…

Just got this from my grandfather's estate, I never saw it before and don't know anything about it. It has a serial number on it but no branding that I can see. It also has the year 1955 on the barrel. Attached fold out Bayonette. And it looks like it can be loaded from the bottom. But I don't have any clip, and I'm not sure if it could take a clip. Thanks I'm advance.

I'm not talking the safety rules or things of that nature. I mean things that you do/don't do after dealing with firearms and all they entail for a few months, years, or decades. Here's a couple of mine:

1. I always check around for the price online now to make sure it is at least reasonable before purchasing. Used to be I'd just think "That seems fair." Later I'd find out I kind of got hosed.

2. I don't buy the one on display. If I'm going to pay for a new gun then I want a brand spankin' new one, not one that dozens of people have finger banged, dropped the slide empty, dropped the entire thing, disassembled and reassembled (poorly), and so on. I've bought displays before and they were fine, but decided awhile ago if they don't have more in the back, I'm probably going to pass.

Not new to the gun world but never bought anything that doesn’t already have a scope base/picatinny, and this is my first lever. Henry’s manual for the supreme says it takes a Weaver 63. There are (2) sets of (2) screws where the base would mount, and they’re about 3.5” apart from centerline of each set.
