Read up, context is a few posts above yours :) basically staged to raise awareness about not carrying (fake) guns out in public.

Makes sense that its not real because they likely would have taken the fake weapon away before arresting them just in case.

It's staged to raise awareness. It's illegal in Germany to open carry real or to real looking guns (in 99% of the cases)

Carrying an E11 on carnival for example is pretty dangerous as the E11 is just a slightly modified Sterling SMG. If you get caught it depends on the judge but probably get ready for jail and a 10k fine and also being barred from owning actual firearms.

Depends how big the "scheinbare Bedrohung" is perceived. But yes you are right most cases it's just an administrative offence
