DAE pee in the shower?

Have I in my life? Yes. Did it stop after I was 10? Also yes. It’s disgusting use a toilet.

Can you explain your reasoning? The shower/toilet water all goes to the same place.

Urine is usually sterile when it leaves the body, but as it mixes with surfaces in the shower or combines with soap residue, it can create an environment where bacteria or mold may thrive, especially in showers that aren’t cleaned regularly.

Urine contains uric acid and other compounds that could, over time, contribute to buildup or damage in older or poorly maintained plumbing systems. Shower pipes can sometimes be maintained differently than toilets in older places.

Technically, urine in the bladder is sterile after being filtered through the kidneys. However, it comes in contact with millions of bacteria on its way out of the body.
