Discussion Hobbies that involve minimal use of the hands?

I'm a proud haver of carpal tunnel in both of my beautiful hands that only seems to get worse. I'm looking for new ways to spend some time over this break and pursue new interests in a way that won't hurt me. Here's what I have so far:

  • running
  • Reading
  • Singing/listening to music
  • Watching videos online

Not what you asked, but a High dose EPA/DHA supplement has helped me a good bit with pain in my hands (I‘m a painter) and my feet (i‘m a runner). and with any activity involving repetitive motion, strength and mobility are your best friends, invest in those up front

I don’t know if you’re into gaming but Microsoft makes an adaptive controller for the xbox.

I do hula hooping. Most tricks can be done without hands and you can even start hand free if you lift the hoop with your foot instead of picking it up.

Something like making a podcast? There'll be a bit of hand action when it comes to the editing stage but I imagine once you get the hang of it, that'll be fairly minimal.

Also I get that once you start producing something like that, not a lot of people will listen, but you'll probably enjoy it.
