I would love the illustration to show that someone's injuries are extreme instead of sexualizing them all the time...
Though it's still hot

Unfortunately unless they wanna bump the ratings up to seinen, accurately depicting wounds isn’t gonna work out often
Also the last thing we need is people fetishizing sliced open breasts. Because while it is realistic to happen in that medieval combat it isn’t pretty.

But last season we saw a bunch of adventurers get brutally mauled and killed by an OP dungeon monster, showing a flesh wound should not be an issue at this point.

It’s not necessarily that.
1) those wounds weren’t super focused on. A healing scene would have to at least bring narrative attention to the wounds. Quickly showing a sort of bloody stump rather than the whole intestines allows them to gloss over the reality. Meanwhile a medical scene involves discussing the fact that a character got her boob sliced open
2) they were mostly dudes, and men are the expendable gender.
3) the people being damaged weren’t main characters. You aren’t allowed to butcher and maim main characters like that.
4) boobs are sacred and untouchable. You are not allowed to distort or damage them.

“They were mostly dudes”
We literally saw Ryu’s familia get massacred, a familia made entirely of women.

I mean the large illustration of the dark elf girl in vol 19 heavily sexualizes her too, and she is like 13 or so.
Ryu here at least is 21...but then again many illustrations of under aged girls in Danmachi are like that.

Asfi confused healing with kneading

She is doing both. Remember that her chest got open with a slice, so you can imagine what else got sliced in that attack.

I know Ottar knocked her out but did she really need a breast massage to heal? Am I missing something?
