What’s going on with the exhaust pipe next to the cylinder head?

It’s definitely not next to the head, it sits pretty much where the stock exhaust is. You’re probably thrown off by the power bomb on top of it.

Man, that looks awesome! Really like the front fender and the side panels. Is that the polisport headlight? If so, is it any good? I’d love to see a rear view.

It’s a Race Tech V-Face headlight and it’s absolutely garbage lmao. Looks good but you won’t see further than your fender at night.

Looks weird. The shrunk down bars and fairings…Like a DRZ for a midget or a Chinese knock off based on the DRZ.

Fairings are supposed to enhance aerodynamics and cover up the mechanical parts of the bike that aren’t that aesthetically pleasing. This build makes an effort to do neither.

I don’t run a smaller bar, it’s the same width as the stock one. Might just be the pictures that make it look like that to you.

Check my post (or comment here as I attached a pic of mine) about the Restyle. It 100% looks better in person than in the pics (my objective opinion) Though I'm not a fan of the polisport headlight, I still think the kit matches the KTM light wayyy better.

Edit: the left side rear fender also completely covers the battery still which is what I was most worried about.

Still looks weird and anemic. But at least yours has normal bars and more color esthetic.

I think it might be the Acerbis tank mixed with the poli headlight and fender on his that gives it the anemic look. that I can see.

However in my firsthand experience, the restyle front fender has nearly the same dimensions as my stock SM one. The radiator panels are a tad bit wider up top as well, not a ton, but noticable when sitting on the bike. The tail fender is more bulbous, same with the side panels. The restyle indeed widens a stock bike. Not by much though.

Not trying to tell you you're wrong or anything. I'm just trying to document some differences for others that may find this thread.

I'm kinda glad I went with the restyle fender over the SM one, I wonder if the SM one would look better with the KTM style light though. Guess it'll be the $25 to find out eventually.

Looks good man!
