Frame sliders

Post image

Got an MFP 12 bar on the way, already made some skateboard wheel axle sliders, and I just ordered these. Anybody got any experience dumping the bike with these? Did it fuck up the frame? That’s always been my fear with frame sliders

Looks like these would mess up the frame if you fell on them. That is cool that they mount up with two bolts though

That’s kind of the thing with all frame sliders. Some say they destroy the frame, others swear by them. I guess I’ll let you know, I actually haven’t crashed the drz in like 2 months of learning to wheelie on it so when it happens 🤷‍♂️ I’ll make a post I guess

I dropped my 125cc on some very cheap sliders twice and both times they held and didnt mess the frame. One time my brother drove a car into the bike and dropped it, the other time I crashed going like 60kmh which is like 40mph. Bike is 50kg lighter than the drz and is shorter but the frame is cheap, the drz is much more solid so my guess is you will be fine.

Where did you get these?

Full metal stunt parts, a pretty legit company

I wouldn’t use these. I’ve been told they do crack/damage the frame. Not good, especially with Drz running oil through the frame.
