So beautiful! I lived in Stamford UK for 3 years and miss is dearly.

Lived there when I was a kid.

Never realized how beautiful it was until I left.

Kids are dumb. At least I was.

Oh how I understand you. My husband and I returned to his home with our children recently. He wanted them to see where Daddy grew up. When we arrived, after connecting with longtime family friends, we began exploring the countryside. It was stunning. His words, “Growing up all I ever wanted was to get out of here. Now, as a father, all I want is to raise the kids right here.” Hindsight is 20/20.

Life is truly strange and mysterious. Having made a new life overseas now I wonder what scared away.
