This brought me the sort of comfort I feel when I turn on those ambient campfire videos. That snowy view with the plants 💚 maybe I’ll browse this sub for a while to chill my brain tf out, ty

I think I’ll join you but you’re quite ahead of me, but I know you’ve left things as they were, in peace.

The apartment looks very beautiful. I love how everything about the decoration was done.

Yep. It's a nice one and I love how high it's placed up there. It's not too down to cause heat.

u/findhumorinlife Nov 07 '24
What a beautiful setting and love your table.

u/Creative-Pattern1407 Nov 08 '24
The table looks very solid. I'm quite sure it's going to last for a long time and won't break easily.

Lovely and cozy. I love that you have “ Zen and the Art…” on your bookshelf. Read it in 1981 in college and haven’t seen a copy until now. Enjoy the snow!

I like the redish lighting in the last two.

It's a sunset lamp, makes it warm and cozy even when it's snowing out

It's the best way to regulate the weather when it's very cold. You're very thoughtful.

Hey I've delivered that exact table a few times. It's insanely heavy.
Sending hugs

This was my peace today, my two year old daughter looking up at me with her sparkling eyes and saying, "I'm making a castle, Mama"

Tell her to make it big enough so we all can hide in it for the next four years.

Your dining room looks almost exactly like a cafe I visited in South Korea
Beautiful set up!
1
u/Creative-Pattern1407 Nov 08 '24
Are you serious? What's the name of the cafe you visited in South Korea?
1
u/Dragons-Are-Neato Nov 09 '24
Yep. It was just a local cafe by our apartments. Cafe Sage. I used to go there all the time like 10 years ago, but they ruined the interior! The interior now looks awful compared to your setup:

Where do you have snow like that :o

u/liltacobabyslurp Nov 07 '24
We had a snowstorm in Colorado that began last night through tonight. Denver is blanketed in white right now

I feel for you. For all of us. This has been a horrific twenty-four hours. But your place is beautiful and we will all come out of this wiser than we went in. I don’t know how, but I, as an agnostic atheist, am going to say I have faith. Remember that people love you. And in the case of OP, people also love your cozy space!

I’m sure you don’t mean to minimize what this commenter feels. You are perhaps shocked by the social repercussions of your publicly held views, but others are shocked by existential threats to people and communities they love. Perhaps there are more appropriate days to marvel over how rejected you feel. Moral relativism is a lot of things but it ain’t cozy.
ETA: ❤️ etc etc

This is my fault. I should not have engaged with someone I felt was trolling. Apologies to everyone who came here for coziness and not this nonsense.

Your photos are stunning and define cozy for me. I wish I were there. I wish you peace in your heart, mind and soul. I do know what and how you’re feeling because I too, am. It’s nearly 24 hours after, and I can’t feel anything as much as I feel that makes sense to me.
GRIEF
I definitely feel grief as I’m grieving what’s happened here again. I can’t understand how. Or why, or what’s worse, what’s to come that will divide us more
Thank you for sharing the most lovely cozy space you have with us. It’s like welcoming arms, after the first very dark day.
The division of the people in our United States has suffered another huge blow, and I worry we’ll never recover from it, not with so much hate that can be felt all around me.

I cannot get over how much it looks like you LIVE INSIDE A TREE. When you look out the window, all the other trees are snowy. Inside this tree home, you have a gorgeous warm table and living things and maybe even a mole, rat and badger coming for tea…

What a lovely space. And the wood the table is made of is beautiful. And soothing I imagine to touch. And it appears you have beautiful trees outside to look at. I actually feel a little better just looking at this photo. Thank you.

You can have some more drinks or something, but you're just short of some delicious food.

What a lovely space! Thank you for not junking up the table with dishes, silverware, centerpiece etc..., my pet peeve. The table is so beautiful, it speaks for itself, it needs nothing else. Enjoy your peaceful surroundings and thanks for sharing with me.
