Worth it? I was thinking of renting something similar as opposed to staying in Cairo and traveling for the day.

You mean to live or travel? I lived here for 2.5 years and it isn't for the first time expat by any means.

Oh no I thought it was one of those boutique Bedouin stays to view the pyramids.

I am thinking of going to Egypt and Lebanon for a couple weeks.
