Can you at least have a big mosquito problem over there or am I just to burst with envy?

Really? In MA? Come on. We have mosquitoes everywhere.

I used to live on a 500 acre lake in MI. There were mosquitos but not from the lake. They live in standing water like swamps. Not lakes. No more mosquitos than anywhere else in MI.

NY checking in. Never have an issue with mosquitos out on the water, but will get eaten alive on our beach area putting my kayaks back on the rack around dusk. The water in our cove does sometimes get a little stale and a couple spots on the beach are prone to flooding.

It sounds crazy, but I kind of got used to bug bites. A couple minor ones here and there don't bother me any more. Around here ticks are a much bigger threat. Had my first run-in with Lyme Disease last summer, it was as bad if not worse than advertised.

Yeah... but like... the grocery store is a bit too far away, right? Like... not so far that you'd be "going into town for provisions," but more like "Dang, it'd be nice if the Stop&Shop was closer."

The grocery store comes to them like an ice cream truck
