Saw the live production with my sister today
And it was brilliant!! I think we were having the most fun in the audience, it was really good time.
And yes, we found the lemon! Not telling where it is…

There's a live production???
Brilliant.
Did they act out some episodes?

It was staged as a radio play, with sound effects (some of which had us cackling)! The cast had scripts and microphones, and it was great to see their facial expressions and everything. I think you’d be hard pressed to actually act out some of what happens, especially in Douz

I'm a weirdo. I might be more excited about seeing Finnemore

Right!? XD Arthur is by far my favourite character plus JF is the brilliant writer himself

When we went to the Ottery-St-Mary and Newcastle recording, we hung around afterwards to see if we could speak to John Finnemore. He was surprised that we were there wanting to speak to him, he'd thought everyone would have left because Benedict Cumberbatch wasn't there.
Such a humble man, and very sweet.

We would definitely come back! I don’t think I’ve ever seen my sister quite so happy when we’ve seen a comedy show haha - she was having such a great time

That's so lovely to hear, may I share this with the cast? They would love to have the feedback.

I saw a similar one of these in Cambridge years ago - I think pre-Zurich! It was wonderful. The programme looks oddly similar but I’d be surprised if it’s the same people. I remember they did Gdańsk because Arthur’s actor was amaaaaazing at the physical comedy of being ordered to eat a cheesecake!

Wait, what? Why wasn't I informed of this live production?! /j
Seriously though, how can I find out about future ones? Is there a website somewhere, or a newsletter I can subscribe to?

It was a local theatre group who decided to put it on, so I don’t think it would have been advertised anywhere centrally or by John Finnemore himself (although I think the director did promote it in this sub and on Facebook). I guess just keep your eyes out in your local area, or online on Facebook groups etc?
