Where find the bonus footage?

Hi all!

So it used to be that there was a full set of CP on Amazon and if you bought it, you got access to some bonus footage (Douglas telling his life story or something like that). I was wondering if anyone knows which full set this is and if it's still available.

Thank you! :)

TIL a pilot bet the first officer he could land his plane with the curtains closed, relying just on the instruments. Seventy people on-board died in the resulting crash, but the pilot survived.

Get dressed, you merry gentlemen (and women), let nothing you dismay!

For it is Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas Day!

It's time for our annual family tradition of listening to Molokai as we drive to see family at Christmas.

Hope that wherever we all are on this sub, may we, even if it's ever so briefly, catch a glimpse of Christmas the way Arthur sees it!

Merry Christmas all!

Douglas and sushi

I know it's a weird thing to title something but man I need to tell someone, It might be common knowledge but I believe sushi is Douglas's favourite food, he wants to buy it in the St. Petersburg episode, he mentions wanting to eat a righteous amount of sushi in the Molokai episode as well as later complaining he won't be eating any when their plans are changed. Also in the Johannesburg episode he makes a meal for him and Martin that doesn't need to be heated up, maybe he already cooked it but it could also be that he made sushi for them

From A-Z collection

Hi! I already own all four series of CP and Zurich. The only one I'm missing is the Christmas special and I'm looking up the a-z cd boxset and I'm wondering if its worth buying if im only missing one episode? I know there's deleted scenes and outtakes but is that worth the £35 price tag?

I've started using the Five Step Solution from Ipswich at my work. I wish I was joking.

Step one: first you get his attention. Now depending on how you get on, that might be "Excuse me, sir" or "Er, captain?"

Step two: state your concern in a non-confrontational manner. "Hey, chief, I might be wrong, but I think we're low on fuel."

Step three: let him know how you feel about this. "This makes me feel uneasy."

Step four: propose a solution. "One thing we could do is reduce our speed."

Step five: obtain buy into your idea. "How does that sound to you?"

I've been using it at my work, where I have an office job and we have to do a lot of problem solving/collaborating. And it works.

Carolyn the Medievalist?

I have a pet theory that Carolyn, at some point in her life, studied either Medieval History or Medieval Literature. On a recent re-listen, I noticed that she quotes Medieval texts now and again. Such as Julian of Norwich's "All shall be well and all manner of things shall be well."

I just wanted to share my thought.

And it was brilliant!! I think we were having the most fun in the audience, it was really good time.

And yes, we found the lemon! Not telling where it is…

Recommendations for similar audio shows?

Just finished listening to Cabin Pressure and am a huge fan of the show! Douglas is my favourite. I really enjoy British humour and I noticed that the characters on the show are very articulate. I feel British people have such a colourful way of talking about even the most mundane of things.

I'm really sad to finish the show, do y'all have any recs for similar shows I can listen to after cabin pressure ?
