I hate that these media figures and news stations are allowed to get away with how they word these post.

People will read ‘ allegedly’ or ‘it’s been reported that’s and run it off as the truth while these fuckers are allowed to sit back without any consequences just to get engagements.

I also blame the audiences for not taking 10 seconds to shut the fuck up, do research, form their own opinion, DOUBLE CHECK ANOTHER CREDIBLE SOURCE, and then decide the best course of action.

I would be embarrassed if I found out I was letting my own biases and stubbornness turn me into someone who is easily manipulated. This is why we need to stop with the “ be nice and tolerant to bigots, people are learning.”

Meanwhile it’s expected to tolerate and deal with persistent racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, classism, etc.

I’m glad the world is somewhat moving on from catering to the feelings of bigots.

I can’t imagine going through life believing you’re always justified in your actions and choosing to dig a hole rather than admit and renounce ignorant beliefs/actions.
