Four Door Friday Added window tint to my baby

35% all around. Perfect 👌 the video the tinting guy took doesn’t do it justice. Looks a little darker in person. I was afraid 20% would be too dark at night

As a person who lives in AZ, 35% doesn't even look like you have tint on. 20 is day to day very livable, and a life requirement for me. Great looking car though

I've got 39 on my s5, and it's way darker than that. That looks like 70.

It looks darker in person. The end of the video shows it darker and that's more of what it looks like. I think the phone he was using must have been able to adjust for the tint or something idk. He said it was ceramic tint

Thanks! If I was in AZ I would do more. VA not so much. Technically I can't even have 35% on the front windows... 50% is the legal limit...which is silly. But it's a secondary offense so they need to catch me first.

I live in NoVA and you'll be OK...if you TRY not to speed. Keyword: TRY

My friend's car has 20% tint and it wasn't too bad to see out of, but if you're in an area with no lighting outside, yea it might be an issue.

Thanks for the info. I’m happy with the 35. But I really like speeding… the car practically does it on its own

50 is a bit like communism.. I'm sorry. Our "limit" is 30. So the tint shop I go to issues the invoice with that. But the cops out here run 15. That is way too dark for night.

50 is sad for sure. I think with a doctors note you can get more. Thankfully they don’t pull people over for tint these days. Just another fine if you get pulled for something else

Well thank God for that. Last time I went to to see family in Illinois, I got pulled over for tint. He was like it's illegal. I was like for where, here. Don't live here.

I would never have anything higher than 20%. I had 5% on my truck which was great during the day, but awful at night.

I agree. You also need to get good tint. Not the stuff from Walmart. I ran a cheap 15. It was super dark and kept the light out. But the inside of my car was still an oven. I run a high quality ceramic 20, lighter, but 30 degrees cooler. And when it's 118 out. Temp matters.

35 is a great mix of adding some aesthetics and getting the head down while keeping your visibility near perfect in all conditions.

I like your thinking. When I bought my car, it had 20 all around and I 100% could not see properly at night except under bright street lamps, mix in a bit of rain or fog and it’s way worse. We get a lot of rain/weather around here. I care about functionality more than looks, but I think 35% still looks great on that.
