Congrats! I just bought my first cabriolet. Strongly recommend you do a ceramic coat (including the soft top), window tint, and park it in a garage.

FWIW Chemical Guys makes a fabric ceramic coat product (hydrothread) that is safe to use on the soft top and it works well, the water beads and slides right off. It doesn't last forever but if you keep your top clean and treated and use that product every time you do so, it will help.
You still need to use a soft top cleaner and protection product of your choice to keep the top in good shape, that just would get applied on top after using those. Chemical Guys makes such things, and Porsche dealers sell high quality stuff.
Another thing I would suggest is investing in lint rollers. The fastest and easiest way to clean up your top of random bits of dirt and pollen and leaf matter and what not is just to roll it with them. You might burn through 3 or 4 rollers before it's all gone, but on a well treated roof it's all you need most of the time. It's best to get that stuff off the roof so it doesn't embed in the fabric. That is what will cause more wear over time.
I've been driving my car in the winter snow and wet, but the top is not dirty at all - pretty much nothing sticks to it and the little that does comes right off with a lint roller.

Maintenance tips? Never actually use the convertible top.
