META Following the Rules

I'd like to thank the active members of this community. Your vigilance and dedication help keep our sub safe. I saw some nasty comments today directed towards u/thevomitgirl and u/ATXbunnie. This is unacceptable and will not be tolerated in any way. I appreciate all of the heart and soul they put into this sub. It's up to all of us to keep this a safe place. The next time you see someone point out a rule, thank them for protecting this community. It's a thankless task that is very necessary considering the scammy nature of some Reddit users.

That is terrible advice and can result in a ban from many subs.

My advice to you is just find communities on reddit that fit your interests. Whether that be games, shows, music, whatever, there's a sub for basically anything and everything. Gain karma organically and do not visit subs that are for karma farming (like freekarma and similar subs) as that can get you banned in several communities.

Yeah I didn’t know about the whole karma farming thing either. I see it written but didn’t know what it was. Now I’m disqualified from requesting, whoops.
