META Following the Rules

I'd like to thank the active members of this community. Your vigilance and dedication help keep our sub safe. I saw some nasty comments today directed towards u/thevomitgirl and u/ATXbunnie. This is unacceptable and will not be tolerated in any way. I appreciate all of the heart and soul they put into this sub. It's up to all of us to keep this a safe place. The next time you see someone point out a rule, thank them for protecting this community. It's a thankless task that is very necessary considering the scammy nature of some Reddit users.

After being chewed out by a few people for saying that I can't drive and needed pizza delivered and not pick-uped (when the offer said nothing about pick-up only); I'm very put off of asking for any more help or even returning the favor.

I rarely visit this sub or see posts from here anymore but I do know that u/thevomitgirl is always an amazing person

I’m sorry, what? You’ve received help on this sub before; and now because people called you out for being rude, you’re put off from paying it forward. Do you realize how entitled and ridiculous that sounds?

Honestly, good. I’m glad you’re put off from asking for more help. I hope users here are put off from helping you.

I wasn't rude. Somebody put up an offer for pizza and I mentioned that I can't drive and am unable to walk 3 miles. I got chewed out for asking if delivery was ok

Who cares? You’re missing the point I was trying to make. You’ve been helped on this sub before, you shouldn’t allow comments to prevent you from paying it forward.
