Sure, say you're a tourist/new around town & maybe some one will let ya join a game. It's called socializing & making friends. I do this with soccer & badminton if I ever see someone playing I'll ask to join lol LA has so many cool ppl that are down for whatever, just don't come off as rude or creepy & most people are game
