That's a normal sized moose

146

u/WilhelmEngel 3d ago

You can tell it's a normal sized moose because it's posted on this sub. I think a lot of people have no idea how big those things get.

35

u/mattslote 3d ago

Every time I see a moose I think "Wow that's big. I remember them being big but that's still bigger than I remember them being."

20

u/Smidge_Master 3d ago

Wait it might just be me or my memory playing games with me but isn't it a tad smaller than most meese

Same shit, they're still going to walking unscathed if you smack with a car

1

u/TheBlackTower22 1d ago

Nah, they get killed by cars all the time. It also totals the car a lot of the time.

3

u/crusty54 1d ago

Theyā€™re elephants with antlers.

47

u/affordableproctology 3d ago

Also, typical Audi driver

13

u/just_killing_time23 3d ago

Right?? Bro let the moose pass

8

u/cedriceent 2d ago

To be fair, the moose is also carelessly jaywalking.

5

u/just_killing_time23 2d ago

Straight to moose jail

4

u/theshekelcollector 2d ago

how bout no? the lights are red for the moose.

1

u/BalanceEarly 2d ago

Yeah, because he could waste that car!

10

u/JunketPuzzleheaded42 3d ago

As a Canadian I can confirm this is a normal sized mature bull Moose.

The get so much bigger.

8

u/TrumpersAreTraitors 3d ago

People used to just fight these with spears and shit, wild. Imagine everytime you were hungry you had to fight one of these to the death.Ā

u/Pussycat-Papa 2d ago

All moose are absolute units

4

u/Rampasta 2d ago

It's pronounced Meese. You're welcome, Happy Holidays!

3

u/Pussycat-Papa 2d ago

Mouses

Mazel tov

4

u/Grouchy-Offer-7712 3d ago

So glad the comments said this. Honestly a bit undersized as a male if fully grown.

-1

u/Other_Recognition269 3d ago

Find a new slant!

76

u/Free_Unit5617 3d ago

Honestly, even the smallest moose is enormous. People genuinely don't understand just how giant these animals are. If you see an actually Unit-sized moose, you'll know it immediately.

23

u/PlatypusDream 3d ago edited 2d ago

A baby teen moose is horse-sized. Most people don't understand that.

[Corrected size]

12

u/Free_Unit5617 3d ago

Right! Even the CALVES are big creatures

7

u/Fragrant-Inside221 3d ago

I wish my calves were bigger.

2

u/Dreadskull1991 2d ago

Itā€™s all genetic

1

u/Free_Unit5617 2d ago

All in the wrists

2

u/Midnight28Rider 2d ago

Well, that's not quite true. They're about 2.5 feet tall at birth. By a year old, they can get to be 6' tall, but by that time, they're like 7 or 8 in human years (hardly a baby).

64

u/Funky-Heimerdinger 3d ago

That audi is a douche. Can't u the fucking moose coming. It's huge.

8

u/BabyBearBjorns 3d ago

Audi must have moose insurance.

6

u/Shantotto11 2d ago

Audi was playing it loosey-moosey with their well-beingā€¦

3

u/BippityBoppityMagic 2d ago

Nah, that moose totally saw that Audi coming. It stopped for a second.

1

u/BitByBitOFCL 2d ago

The moose almost took one for the team, one less audi driver on the roads.

82

u/SmilinBuddha969 3d ago

Honestly, this moose is just average size.

12

u/PronouncedEye-gore 3d ago

Barely average sized. Young un right there.

25

u/I_Have_Dry_Balls 3d ago

Of a jaywalker.

8

u/PlatypusDream 3d ago

Maybe it's red/green colorblind & thought it had a green light?

3

u/I_Have_Dry_Balls 3d ago

Thatā€™s true, maybe he was a law abiding moose, caught in the lighting fray.

6

u/monkeymatt85 2d ago

It was kind enough to use the crossing, what more can you ask for

20

u/akaflaka69 3d ago

Typical Audi

18

u/Glovermann 3d ago

Tbf all moose are absolute units

3

u/PronouncedEye-gore 3d ago

Then they would be an absolute unit of a deer. But that's still not huge for moose at all. Not a unit for sure.

8

u/titankingz 3d ago

Whatā€™s with the movie style Spanish translation?

4

u/txivotv 2d ago

I don't know but I'm starting to downvote any shit with totally random audios or horrible tiktok music...

14

u/jake_azazzel 3d ago

That's actually a small/normal one as far as moose go

7

u/azmetalhead 3d ago

Que theme to Northern Exposure

3

u/Pussycat-Papa 2d ago

I hummed it while watching

5

u/Mekelaxo 3d ago

Meese are just that big

4

u/Other_Recognition269 3d ago

At least it used the crosswalk

3

u/adod1 3d ago

So I think Moose is my pick if reincarnation is a thing.

3

u/Taptrick 3d ago

How many times do we have to say this on this sub: this is a normal moose. Moose are huge.

3

u/Wild_Replacement5880 3d ago

That's just a little bull. Not even an average moose.

6

u/squirrelmcdougal 3d ago

Couldnā€™t even wait for a green light to cross? Rude.

7

u/Josephthebear 3d ago

Used the crosswalk though šŸ˜†

A wildlife corridor connects two areas of "natural" land enabling species to move between the two areas converting two small islands of nature into a larger zone. There are benefits not just for the species, but also for the people using the general area. https://youtu.be/Rngz5PYoG4E

2

u/mr-ifuad 3d ago

Whatā€™s language in background?

2

u/Frankie1234567890 3d ago

Audi come on

2

u/totriuga 3d ago

What sort of brain rot audio track is that? Sheā€™s saying ā€œwhere did you get those??ā€, which makes no sense.

2

u/cancervivordude 3d ago

I've seen much bigger

2

u/psubs07 2d ago

Lol dude that's just a moose, that's how big they are.

3

u/RCalliii 3d ago

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this just a normal sized moose?

1

u/PronouncedEye-gore 3d ago

Barely average.

1

u/JohnCtail 3d ago

CASUAL DEER (not killing you)!

1

u/NaomiExalted 3d ago

Moose are majestic creatures!

2

u/Delta_Hammer 2d ago

A moose bit my aunt once.

1

u/Twometershadow 3d ago

Was in a major accident on HWY 1 from Anchorage to Eagle River years ago. Why? Moose cross roads when they want. Even major HWYs!

Moose does what Moose wants.

1

u/locxj 3d ago

Reminds me of a joke- where does a bear sit? Wherever it wants.

1

u/ShiroHachiRoku 3d ago

That Audi didnā€™t even flinch.

1

u/invisableilustionist 2d ago

They where probably on the phone

1

u/mibergeron 3d ago

The Audi was weirder to see.

1

u/TheFlyingBoxcar 3d ago

Man Id never want to live somewhere a life-ending creature could just slide up next to me while Im waiting to cross the street in a crosswalk at a traffic light.

1

u/xtilexx 3d ago

That's the runt of the family

1

u/FreeRemove1 3d ago

"Aaah, good, I caught the gree- SHIIIIIIT! Was that a moose?"

1

u/fascintee 3d ago

I like how in some videos traffic is completely stopped for some geese or sheep....wheras at least one guy was like whatever I ain't scared of no moose and zooms by.

1

u/Pussycat-Papa 2d ago

I have found moose. Now where squirrel? Must crush moose AND squirrel

1

u/gassian_flatulence 2d ago

Stop your car, dumbass

1

u/1998ChevyTaHoe 2d ago

But when I cross the street against traffic...

1

u/inbocalupo420 2d ago

I know that moose! His grandfather was walking through Cicely on the opening credits of "Northern Exposure" šŸ˜

1

u/Emergency_Way7423 2d ago

He is the mighty one. All traffic comes to a halt.

1

u/KittyKatzB 2d ago

Now thereā€™s the reason I drive slow.

That there in the middle of the road?

Yah. Thatā€™s a moose.

Sheā€™ll move when sheā€™s good and ready.

1

u/ItsStaaaaaaaaang 2d ago

Beautiful buddy.

1

u/Saddam_UE 2d ago

That Audi driver was probably on their phone and didn't see shit

1

u/darbs-face 2d ago

Iā€™m crossing now, whatcha gonna do bout it!?

1

u/Aromatic-Mushroom-36 2d ago

I've seen them in Western Montana when I was visiting family. Pure insanity how large they can get. We have Roosevelt Elk out where I live and those things are twice the size or bigger it seems!

1

u/Nino_sanjaya 2d ago

I'm not american, but isnt that just normal size?

1

u/Amberinnaa 2d ago

To be fair, moose are absolute units in general.

1

u/WildResident2816 2d ago

Have you ever seen a grown moose, that doesnā€™t even look like a big moose.

1

u/TotallyNotJonMoog 2d ago

Well that's probably why they get hit.... mother fucker didn't look both ways.

1

u/RangerOk3629 2d ago

Heā€™s using the crosswalk. Let him go about his businessā€¦

1

u/BelmTheOwl 2d ago

F*ck your rules,

this moose. Probably

1

u/oftcenter 2d ago

I love how unbothered he is.

1

u/dendenwink 2d ago

I was hoping to see a moose dong. Was disappointed.

1

u/Limp_Yogurtcloset246 2d ago

Is that a baby?

1

u/Medium-Art-4725 1d ago

He walked a red light !

1

u/JKrow75 1d ago

Thatā€™s a slightly below average sized moose, and while inherently a unit, it is not an absolute unit. They get much, much bigger than that.

1

u/sexworkiswork990 1d ago

That seems kind of small for a moose.

1

u/pld0vr 1d ago

When driving on ice In the winter, if a deer runs out, it's safer to just not swerve, be calm, hit the deer... A moose on the other hand, that thing will go right through the windshield and kill you.

1

u/duke_of_uwus 1d ago

Oh dear, I've never seen one in person, thankfully. I'd lose my mind, ESPECIALLY if that's an average moose.

1

u/gunny316 1d ago

zero fucks given lol

1

u/All_Of_That_Ow 1d ago

I like how he kinda using the pedestrian crosswalk

1

u/SriCharanABD 3d ago
