It's mediocre, comparible to the official Xbox headset. I found volume adjusment to be better on the Kaira, but sound quality is better on the official Xbox headset.

Razer is not good for headsets, and the material they make it out of degrades in key points of the headset; even with perfect care.

What headset would you recommend. I kinda thought about why the headset would be $30 when it went for $100 so I didn’t buy it.

If you want a budget headset, I'd just go with the official Xbox headset. It's worked fine for me for a couple of years, and the only real issue has been finetuning the volume between party and game audio using the headset. For which you can just adjust the in-game volume if need be.

Yeah true. I was looking at the Xbox headset and saw issues about build quality and I think the mic quality. It’s annoying because all the headsets I see all have the same issues

I bought one a year ago. It's ok, BUT be careful with the cable. It's usb-c, but slightly narrower then every single usb-c cable I have at home, so only the OEM one fits the casing.

I have the Halo edition

Not terrible by any stretch, sound's great! But mine has a habit of blowing out the sound after a while. I think it might be interference from my phone but not 100% - always ends up needing either an off and on again or resetting the equaliser in the app

Never got it to work with my PC's Xbox dongle either, but that's a proper edge case these days

Not worth it. I got this a couple years back for Series S and at that point the sound would cut in and out, with the only fix being to turn it off and back on. Not sure if they fixed the Series' console wireless issues since then, but I hate this headset because of that experience. Returned it the same day.

I had the wired version of this. Payed $40 Canadian. Can’t say I was impressed. Returned it the next day.

Love Razr hardware. Meh on there audio products
