Exuding swagger in every step.

So much soul in each step

I love that red overalls gets up and tries to match his energy but just balks in laughter at the sheer enthusiasm and vigor in that last CLAP. We all need a friend like blue overalls.

His tonguework is fire

Someone must have a shaving profile...

7

u/throwitbackatit Aug 18 '22

Carryin the chits or you get the shits.

2

u/Pete-A-Dillo Aug 18 '22

I've seen a few Very Bad cases of pseudofolliculitis barbae (bad case of razor-rash) as a medic back in my day. I've also had more than a few African American soldiers come to me looking for a fucking handout- in the form of a shaving profile... It's a tough line to tread, to be honest, because a significant population of African Americans DO actually have trouble shaving on a daily basis. And yet.... There were also those guys just looking for an excuse to grow out their face muff.

But anyways, i digress.... what was I saying, now???

u/Bodom1994 Aug 19 '22

Shit I say just let everyone grow beards, I'd be handing out no shave chits to everyone.

What is this dance

Before I Let Go - Maze ft Frankie Beverly

u/iMayHaveADHD Aug 19 '22

If I could reach your fist I would extend my own to commence a mutual bumping sequence.

7

u/morgster87 Aug 18 '22

Gotta be some damage control men on a carrier or amphib. That rolling office chair wouldn’t work on a smaller ship. Also they’re probably on deployment since it looks like a few of them haven’t shaved, sometimes you can get a no-shave chit for a few weeks while underway, but almost never in port unless it’s a medical necessity. Being on deployment can make you go a little crazy for sure.

The only red coveralls I saw in the Navy were on DCs, so I think you're right. Granted I only saw DCs in bootcamp since I was in the sub fleet, so I could be wrong.

4

u/rosycheeks33 Aug 18 '22

No shave chits are highly common now.

7

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '22

Yeah its kinda wild to be honest. Former marine/current GM1 in my duty section has a beard that would put Moses to shame.

I saw him after he had been growing it for a while and asked how in the hell he managed that.

He said "I'm a jew, doc". I was like very well, good shit and carry on.

4

u/BadDaditude Aug 18 '22

Technically he's vibing Frankie Beverly & Maze

u/alanha1984 Aug 18 '22

I miss a good Sunday Routine underway....when we had everyone chillin in the DC shop spinning anything smooth anyone had.
T.S.O.P., STAX...ALL the good shit. If you had something with a good groove, our DC DJ would throw it on.
The only rule was nothing after 1980.

mfw DCA cancels the flying squad drills

3

u/Kylearean Aug 19 '22

When someone tells me they were in the navy, this is what I assume they were doing.

3

u/LarxII Aug 19 '22

I think this is what I miss the most about the navy. People making the most of moments by finding a way to enjoy them. Given, it was likely to preserve sanity, but still.

Gotta have Fun while spreading US liberation in the form of bombs, inocent and Children killings.

1

u/mylefthand95 Aug 19 '22

The U.S isn't the only country that should feel guilty of such atrocities and the army (at least where I am) aren't just for causing havoc in third world countries.

4

u/Argy_Bar Aug 18 '22

They are practicing their taunts after killing the enemy

2

u/Halfbreed75 Aug 18 '22

That dip is fire!

2

2

u/Sir_Puppington_Esq Aug 19 '22

Man I miss having those red coveralls

1

u/LouizSir South America 🌎 Aug 19 '22

Got be chilled to kill some inocent poor child across the globe.

-4

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '22

Idk but those coveralls would not be authorized. He would instantly be called a dirt bag

5

u/Khamvom Aug 19 '22

They’re authorized tho.

-1

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '22

Authorized and wearing dirty uniforms with tears is two different things. No way any of the leaders at my command would have allowed any of us to wear that I matter what job we did.

Lmfao Insecure much? Imagine resorting to assuming and making fun of someone’s sexuality because you have no other point valid enough to debate. You’re displaying the actions of a small, weak child with the emotional capacity of a worm. Go look in the mirror and reflect on your self esteem

What was your rate exactly?

Literally every ship I’ve been assigned to the engineers will have dirty/ripped coveralls while on duty or working. A rip or tear here & there & some dirt on you (like in the video) is fine. We work in the engineering spaces all day with oil, fuel and grime. It’s a given that our uniforms won’t be pristine. Yet, nobody cared as long as the maintenance/repairs were getting done (you’re a dirtbag if they weren’t). All hands calls or ceremonial events is when you slap on the nice pair of coveralls.

The more you know.

1

u/GeneralTonight2401 Aug 19 '22

Lol are you okay there bud? You’re embarrassing Yourself , no one cares about your judgements. Can’t believe they let people as insecure, judge mental, and oblivious as you stay in the military for 10 plus years. Take your ego and pride elsewhere. Also, you were the one calling people dirt bags to begin with, now you’re offended when someone says it to you. That has to be a joke right? You contradicted yourself. They really do just let anyone in the military seems like.
