Yup spot on. From what I can see the liberal is waiting for a chance to throw the poor over also, they just can't say it out loud. Instead, they create some sort of rigged faux meritocratic system that will save them and people as economically fortunate as them.
If you dare to call them out they will say this is the fairest and most moral way to do things. The same poor are going to die, and the same outcomes will occur, but they at least get to stay in power. Both conservatives and liberals are about denying access to solve your problems because they are making their wealth on your misfortune.
