They had a bipartisan plan where these things were included. Trump and Elon Musk told them in no uncertain terms to Not pass the legislation. They went back and cut funding, including 190 million for children’s cancer research and represented the bill in accordance to what they were told. Does your brain understand what is happening yet?

It doesn’t matter who’s in office when it comes to these types of spending bills. It is dictated by the party who has control of the House. Right now, that’s your party.
