It’s pretty obvious there is zero intention of any solution besides genocide. This has been stated repeatedly by the media in Israel, by its government, by its people and by its purse strings holders, the US being the largest. Any humanitarian solution will have to come from the citizens in those countries from whose coffers Israel takes.

Two state solution will just prolong the problem. It's why US and Israel say it as well as "ceasefire" and whatever other buzzwords they use to manufacture consent. It will go from a genocide of an oppressed stateless people to one of people who technically have a state.

One state solution would make it an easier transition back towards a peaceful region. Obviously there would be growing pains but at least Palestinians will be hopefully seen as equal under the law. Only reason it won't happen is because they want to continue the divide as to further their aggression and their voter base would drastically change once the millions of people are finally considered equal.

Someone wants to stay in power. That's why.
