What is wrong w people ???! A kids at a baseball game Encourge them to enjoy it And be a positive not a negative The world has too much of that

184

u/Arthes_M Apr 28 '24

Too many old people in the US take pleasure in seeing others suffer.

17

u/Junior-Profession726 Apr 28 '24

Unfortunately I donā€™t think itā€™s just old people these days

63

u/Fun-War6684 Apr 28 '24

Itā€™s from all the lead. Their brains are short circuiting

11

u/Sbatio Apr 28 '24 edited Apr 29 '24

Meanest motherfuckers on the planet. Just luxuriating in making kids unhappy.

Charles Dickens was working from reality.

5

u/j7seven Apr 28 '24

We hold these truths to be self-interest.

29

u/mothisname Apr 28 '24

I think its a byproduct of late stage capitalism. to judge if im doing well I compare myself to those around me . so if I feel like shit the easiest way to be winning is for those around me to feel shitier. its a very selfish/stupid way to be but a lot of people are selfish and shity... the good news is we , as a species, could stop in an instant and start lifting each other up and turn the world into paradise just like that... it could happen... any second...

6

u/Wtfatt Apr 28 '24

....Any minute now.....

4

u/Kluggg421 Apr 28 '24

I think a lot of the issues older people have now with the younger generations is they see us having a ton more opportunities than they did. The older generation probably was held to a certain standard and now they see younger generations getting the goal post of standards move closer and closer and life is a lot easier now.

Just my opinion

-5

u/BecGeoMom Apr 28 '24

Oh, donā€™t lay that on us. Old people all over the world are hateful, mean, rude, entitled, and assholes. Thatā€™s not just in the U.S. I see videos on here and on Insta, and they are not all from the U.S. You can claim your countryā€™s share of elderly pricks, too.

6

u/Loose_Reference_4533 Apr 28 '24

In Ireland, they are usually very sweet and kind. They grew up in challenging times though so they are more humble in general.

-1

u/BecGeoMom Apr 28 '24

Aww, thatā€™s sweet. Well, not the challenging times part, but that they are sweet and kind. And so are most people everywhere. But to say people in the U.S. take pleasure in seeing others suffer is unfair. I watch the videos and am surprised to see that people are horrible all over the world.

3

u/Wtfatt Apr 28 '24

'I've seen it! Videos. On the internet.'

-1

u/BecGeoMom Apr 28 '24

You can try to make me look foolish, but here you are, commentingā€¦on a videoā€¦on the internet.

3

u/Wtfatt Apr 28 '24

Wow dude, u got me there!

1

u/BecGeoMom Apr 28 '24

Oh, I know. I just donā€™t think you know. šŸ˜

1

u/SquashEmbarrassed378 Sep 15 '24

Typical shitty American justifying the rest of us shitty Americans by saying shitty people exist elsewhere too! (They do, and at some point or another, theyā€™ve usually been here)

1

u/[deleted] May 11 '24

Actually, Iā€™ve traveled across the world and this behavior is mainly in the U.S. amongst older generations.

-2

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '24

[deleted]

1

u/Arthes_M Apr 28 '24

I would argue 1 is too many, as my comment did not infer all elderly people. It's okay, people often will see what they want to see to enforce their outrage instead of taking the time to understand, being reactionary is easier.

Yawn, I stand by it. I don't see black people voting against the younger generations. So let's not whataboutism into racism just because you feel like whiteknighting for the most entitled and selfish generation. Again, this is not all old people but based on polling data...TOO MANY old people in the US are exactly like that woman.

-1

u/[deleted] Apr 29 '24

1

u/Arthes_M Apr 29 '24

Why are you obsessed with trying to shift the conversation against POC?! That's a huge red flag that you're a racist.

20

u/LobsterParade Apr 28 '24

That's the toxic boomer mindset.

2

u/FlamingTrollz Apr 28 '24

Cluster B type ā€˜oldā€™ thought theyā€™d get away with it.

Cowardly weasels.

736

u/Stonk_Lord86 Apr 28 '24

Kid is going places. Put those out of touch olds in their place.

92

u/mark_suckerballs Apr 28 '24

What is he saying?

614

u/CapriciousArach Apr 28 '24

"I'm 11 years old, you're 80. Get a life." It took me a couple times, but I'm pretty confident that what he said

77

u/ThompsonDog Apr 28 '24

it's confusing because he misspeaks and says "i'm 11 year olds, you're 80"

113

u/MadRabbit86 Apr 28 '24

He didnā€™t misspeak. He is acting in his role as representative for all 11 year olds. He is, metaphorically speaking, all 11 year olds.

12

u/CapriciousArach Apr 28 '24

Yeah, that's where I was having a little bit of trouble. The hearing issues weren't helping šŸ˜‚

54

u/chuckmarla12 Apr 28 '24

Thatā€™s because youā€™re 80 years old, get a life. šŸ˜ƒ

7

u/hmclaren0715 Apr 28 '24

No, he's 80 year olds...

4

u/[deleted] Apr 29 '24

No, you're 80 years old. You're suffering from whatever the guy in Memento had. Better start writing your important info on your forearm.

4

u/ScruffyTheNerfherder Apr 28 '24

I thought it was ā€œlearn your rules, youā€™re 80!ā€ Which is a sick burn

-2

u/samclops Apr 28 '24

"learn your rules, you better learn your rules, or you'll be eaten in your sleep"

1

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '24

I thought he said 'i'm loving your rules šŸ™ƒ, you ape...get a life!'.

1

u/lioffproxy1233 Apr 28 '24

Stop running your mouth you're 80

0

u/deepfriedgrapevine Apr 29 '24

In Florida, it's an enhancement charge if you assault a senior citizen.

3

u/[deleted] May 11 '24

I fail to see how your comment is relevant?

-44

u/MurphyAteIt Apr 28 '24

What prompted it? It looked like he just slowly walked up to them to stand in front and face them? Then he talked shit as he was leaving.

45

u/CandyLooter Apr 28 '24

The old one is blocking him with her leg.

49

u/Glum-Suggestion-6033 Apr 28 '24

And then she kicked him (although not hard) in the back of the leg as he went past.

16

u/Fuzzy_Pickles69 Apr 28 '24

And she says, "Oh, you kicked me, why'd you do that?"

-26

u/MurphyAteIt Apr 28 '24

Oh ok, I didnā€™t know that was part of it

18

u/tigm2161130 Apr 28 '24 edited Apr 28 '24

ā€¦did you not watch the video? Like this is such a bizarre line of questioning.

17

u/heebsysplash Apr 28 '24

Sorry you donā€™t have eyes n stuff

21

u/Melzfaze Apr 28 '24

The fucking old bag blocked him, when he went over she fucking took the time to kick the kid after he passed.

This fucking woman need to go to jail for assault with her old wrinkly entitled ass. I would have knocked the bag out for touching a kid.

9

u/rockksteady Apr 28 '24

The kid actually does step on her a little bit (grazes her) because.... he's 11 (short legs), he's got shades on, he's probably got sit and walk fatigue from going to the ball game causing weak balance, hes probably slightly overwhelemed trying not to fall over that he's doing the best he can to not eat shit. Her response is that of drunk twat because that's what she is.

7

u/azurepeak Apr 28 '24

I watched it over and over again, and slowed it down. He doesnā€™t touch her at all. Heā€™s very cautious and careful, and sheā€™s making up some bs for no reason. Idk what crawled up the ladies ass šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

1

u/rockksteady Apr 28 '24

You right. I saw it this morning like 4 times and I swear he did. I don't see it now.

2

u/SneakyCracker161 Apr 28 '24

Are you the old lady Murphy?

91

u/ILLpLacedOpinion Apr 28 '24

Touch my kid we would have a problem. Even if you are 80.

-20

u/Puzzleheaded-Rip-824 Apr 28 '24

Yea dad needs to come knock her husbands block off

34

u/MadRabbit86 Apr 28 '24

Why? What did the husband do?

-1

u/bottomdasher Apr 28 '24

Enabled her behavior by demonstrating that it's acceptable to live with.

8

u/IUpVoteIronically Apr 28 '24

lol perfectly sums up society in this comment

1

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '24

Lmfao this dude paraphrases the comment and gets down voted.

1

u/xemth Aug 12 '24

Donā€™t understand the downvotes on this one, it was pretty common knowledge like in the club or out in public that if a chick is messing with a guy. That guy isnā€™t gonna knock out the chick thatā€™s messing with him. Heā€™s gonna knock out the guys sheā€™s with.

2

u/juliusap Aug 30 '24

Are you chronically stuck in a shitty 80ā€™s movie or something?

126

u/rossbcobb Apr 28 '24

Why did no adult say something? They just watched an adult kick a ln 11 year old, and no one but him said anything? All of those people are shit.

62

u/DieAnderTier Apr 28 '24

Someone with an older voice definitely asks, "why did you do that?"

28

u/rossbcobb Apr 28 '24

I thought that was the woman trying to make it seem as though the kid was at fault.

11

u/DieAnderTier Apr 28 '24

I think she might be the one that says something about kicking just before? Sounds like 2 different people to me right after the kick, but it's so hard to tell I'm not sure.

Hope she throws out her hip next time.

11

u/rossbcobb Apr 28 '24

All we know for sure is this woman sucks.

6

u/GlasgowWalker Apr 28 '24

I think she says "you kicked me what did you do that for?" then kicks him...

As though he kicked her when he was trying to get past her fucking hoof sticking out

5

u/GrayBox1313 Apr 28 '24

Cause the man with her knows what an insufferable C$nt she is and prob is worse.

2

u/OuterInnerMonologue Jun 15 '24

I have so much pent up anger towards people like that, that Iā€™d love to have a legitimate excuse like that to drag that person to the nearest security for battery against a minor.

54

u/Soft-Magician-8464 Apr 28 '24

the kid asks her to move her leg, she refuses, he walks over it, didn't touch her, then she kicks him, calls him a "little bastard"
It is insane that people let old people get away with behavior like this in public unchecked

11

u/SarahPallorMortis Apr 28 '24

Nobody will miss her when sheā€™s gone. Iā€™d bet on it

21

u/cupareo98 Apr 28 '24

I like how the video ended with cheering.

2

u/Kazko25 Apr 29 '24

Causation or correlation though?

Spitting on someone counts as assault. Take the L and learn.

Edit: ā€œAm I the idiot? No, it must be everyone elseā€

7

u/WikDaWula Apr 28 '24

assaultĀ is the illegal act of causing physical harm or unwanted physical contact to another person, or, in some legal definitions, the threat or attempt to do so.Additionally, assault is a criminal act in which a person intentionally causes fear of physical harm or offensive contact to another person.[ Assault can be committed with or without a weapon and can range from physical violence to threats of violence.

16

u/roverman16 Apr 28 '24

Grammy is having a bad day. That could be an assault towards an underage kid.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '24

Iv worked some assault cases you need damage.

14

u/Firepro316 Apr 28 '24

She should have been kicked out. Disgusting manners and behaviour.

2

u/SarahPallorMortis Apr 28 '24

Pretty shameful esp with her age. Lead by example.

175

u/SomeFunnyGuy Apr 28 '24

You have like 11 weeks left.. get a life.

25

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '24

ā€œIā€™m 11 years old.. Youā€™re 80; Get a life!ā€

1

u/0Charkell0 Apr 28 '24

*Year olds

0

u/Reasonable-Purple-61 Apr 28 '24

Thatā€™s not even the right way to say it?

10

u/0Charkell0 Apr 28 '24

Listen closely, thatā€™s what the kid said, Iā€™m assuming he was nervous to yell at an adult or something.

3

u/Reasonable-Purple-61 Apr 28 '24

Ah, I See. Thanks for the explanation

38

u/XinyanMayn Apr 28 '24

Only thing you got correct was "get a life"

8

u/Schellhammer Apr 28 '24

That is definitely not what he said

-2

u/hmclaren0715 Apr 28 '24

No, but it definitely is what he should have said.

11

u/SookHe Apr 28 '24

I so wish there was an update to this, like the kid told his family and the woman got escorted out

5

u/Carthaginian-TN Apr 28 '24

Frustrated old witch

6

u/ChrisChristiesFault Apr 28 '24

Dude next to cammer taps her on the leg as if to say ā€œget ready, here he comesā€ like heā€™s come through several times already and they knew thereā€™d be a confrontation of some kind. (I watched without audio)

7

u/BREADYSF Apr 28 '24

The kid was probably trying to get a baseball from the outfielders before an inning started. He probably did this several times before this recording.

Old hag didnā€™t handle this properly, sheā€™s an adult and could have used words rather than assault a kid.

15

u/Ok-Landscape-1681 Apr 28 '24

2

u/Jfonzy Apr 28 '24

This is where my mind went as well

3

u/hotassnuts Apr 28 '24

She's miserable and needs negative attention.

4

u/twan5446 Apr 28 '24

Man if I saw that it wouldā€™ve took everything in me to not dump whatever I was drinking on that ladyā€™s head lol

3

u/SarahPallorMortis Apr 28 '24

Iā€™d have been her annoyance for the rest of the day.

4

u/Alternative-Train225 Apr 28 '24

Some people suck

7

u/whifucesafuxk Apr 28 '24

Some old people are so fucking weird manā€¦ went to my girlfriends 10 year old brothers Cub Scout event where they were serving bbq and fish for a fundraiser project and her little brother along with other scouts was bringing the food and drinks to every table. I had these two oldddd 75 year old ladies start heckling him and harassing him because he simply told them ā€œno maā€™am we donā€™t have soy sauceā€ they also asked for sugar packets and all this other random bs and when the kid told them sorry maā€™am we donā€™t have it they called him rude and stupid and I was like hey whatā€™s your problem and they just kept talking shit. Like fuck whyā€™s it the kids fault they donā€™t have all the weird condiments you like donā€™t harass him go talk to the adults in charge you dried up bean

7

u/cracker_rr Apr 28 '24

Buddy said ā€œdonā€™t tell your parentsā€

21

u/deathbyshoeshoe Apr 28 '24

Iā€™m pretty sure he said go tell your parents. Thatā€™s the guy who nudged the person to turn the camera.

3

u/cracker_rr Apr 28 '24

You right

2

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '24

Some people just act ugly for no reason! Those are the kind of toxiholics a kid should learn to put in their place so they donā€™t grow up and get devoured by these types at work.

2

u/OilRude Apr 28 '24

Ainā€™t no way bruh. Aint no way she spent the next 45 seconds NOT eating those binoculars

2

u/margretbullsworth Apr 28 '24

My kid is teenage now and doesn't tale shot from ignorant people, and would've likely called this person out as well. I love where the next generations head is at. This nonsensical clown world is coming to a grinding halt soon and we'll be going back to smarter ways.

2

u/cookiecrispsmom Apr 28 '24

The way I would have kicked the shit out of herā€¦..

2

u/HotOuse Apr 28 '24

I hope they ban her from coming back

2

u/Creepy_Photograph107 Apr 28 '24

And no one will miss Betty Boomer when she is gone.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '24

This woman has probably never been punched hard in the face by an angry parent, way too comfortable assaulting that child.

1

u/CressZealousideal336 Apr 28 '24

Should have been posted in r/iamapieceofshit

1

u/ichkanns Apr 28 '24

1
