i read a post from the driver on r/uber that the company deactivated his account immediately over this. they didnt even do an investigation and just took the douchebag's word on what transpired and booted him off the platform . that really sucks for a man trying to make a living in NY.

Hopefully the guy will find a different means to make a living. UBER isn’t the best for the masses of 1099 workers they are utilizing.
