And it doesn't help that the man seems to be an immigrant. He was just dying to get under his skin. Threatened? The only threatening presence is him.

I'm surprised he didn't claim the driver was Hamas

Bullying the other side til they strike you and then play the victim, thats Israels playbook for sure lol.

u/AlienGold1980 Apr 26 '24

This sums up the whole Israeli existence since the late 1940’s.

10

u/FleeshaLoo Apr 27 '24

That's also The Westboro Church business model. It's sick, to quote the very innocent driver.

u/EarthSurf Apr 27 '24

It’s the George Zimmerman approach.

cry bullies

It looks like Davis is getting in the Uber guys face as he calls the Uber guy the aggressor. This is truly pitiful behavior, and should be condemned. Then accusing the Uber driver of antisemitism was sick. Davis should be ashamed.

2

u/chilehead Apr 26 '24

Davis should be ashamed.

As if he's capable of that.

2

u/B0327008 Apr 26 '24

He’s the son of music legend Clive Davis.

Kids. Go inside. You don't need to see daddy being a douche bag. You might figure out who he really is

31

u/originalbL1X Apr 26 '24

He does that so he can later lie to them about what really happened.

1

u/Spaced_X Apr 27 '24

The kids already know exactly who dad is. They’re just going inside to make more despicable TikTok’s.

He exemplifies Zionist 'victim", abusive behavior in the United States!

I mean, guys like this only serve to further encourage actual antisemitism and bigots of all sizes.

1

u/Invictrix Apr 26 '24

No. His disgusting behavior doesn't encourage or create anti-Semitism. That kind of unacceptable behavior is already established in the person. Just because someone behaves badly and very wrongly like this Doug guy did doesn't mean that anti-Semitism and bigotry is in any way acceptable or created by his bad behavior.

6

u/Telefundo Apr 26 '24

Perhaps I worded that wrong. I mean to say it only serves to further embolden other bigots.

3

u/Invictrix Apr 26 '24

Ah, I see. Thank you for clarifying your statement. That does make more sense. Bigots are definitely feeling bolder these days.

40

u/KlondikeChill Apr 26 '24

I've never seen a group so desperate to be the victim.

3

u/DofusExpert69 Apr 26 '24

plenty of awful people raise children. people that win things are often blinded by main character syndrom and don't thinkk rational.

2

u/KellyBelly916 Apr 26 '24

Not just raising children, he's successful. Let that sink in regarding just how low the character bar requirements are for doing well for yourself. This is precisely why the best and brightest are never interested in success or the spotlight.

Who is Douglas Davies?

-2

u/Gerrube99 Apr 26 '24

You are a proud antisemite. Good for you. Do you hate black too? I mean why limit your hatred to just Jews, right?

-51

u/d2dubbs Apr 26 '24

At no time does he reveal if he's a Zionist or not. You're conflating Judaism with Zionism. They're not the same.

(I'm Asian, in case you're wondering. Before you hurl slurs at me, use the correct ones.

40

u/Potential_Crazy6426 Apr 26 '24

Anyone who wants to play the Jewish victim “oh I’m so unsafe card” at this time is a Zionist.

6

u/FakeSafeWord Apr 26 '24

Boy do you have it backwards.

We're saying Zionists are doing whatever they can to look like victims while they're the aggressors. This person is exhibiting the same behavior.

You're conflating the two and claiming we are. No one said "he's acting like a jewish person" You're about as self aware as the douche in the video.

-2

u/d2dubbs Apr 26 '24

So anyone can be equated to a "Zionist" if they play the victim or is it only Jews?

3

u/FakeSafeWord Apr 26 '24

Yes, anyone can be equated to Zionists based on their similar shitty behaviors. It's not like me saying that someone is acting like a baby is "racist" against babies.

u/d2dubbs Apr 26 '24

1

u/FakeSafeWord Apr 26 '24

Awww look you did an understanding. Good job. So proud of you.

1

u/d2dubbs Apr 27 '24

I was going to properly respond, but now I know who I'm dealing with and I just kinda feel bad. Hope you're in a better place now, buddy. https://www.reddit.com/r/AskMenOver30/s/G4vkS7aINJ

So inherent in Zionism is shitty behavior and acting like a victim? All Zionist behave that way?

The same way I could equate all thieves to Gypsies? Making generalizations about a demographic then comparing them to others who exhibit those qualities?

Also, I think the word you're looking for could be derogatory or disparaging. Babies, as far as I know, are not defined race.

u/Gong_Show_Bookcover Apr 26 '24

Nobody asked bro, and nobody is hurling slurs.

95% of American Jews are proud Zionists

Do you have a source for that number? That sounds extremely high even for casual extremists like Americans

5

u/usedtodreddit Apr 26 '24 edited Apr 26 '24

I know a LOT of Jewish persons in the US (I married one), but have never yet met a single one who is a Zionist or even supports any of the heinous shit Israel is doing today.

I strongly suspect your '95% of American Jews are proud Zionists' was pulled straight out of your ass.

EDIT: Here, this 2021 Pew Reaearch poll says you aren't even close.

https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2021/05/21/u-s-jews-have-widely-differing-views-on-israel/

And it's a safe bet that in the past few months those numbers have gotten even lower as US attitudes towards Israel have changed drastically across the board.

2

u/andsendunits Apr 26 '24

I would have just said that he sounds like a boomer or a Republican. Two other groups that love to play the victim

-5

u/d2dubbs Apr 26 '24

Lots of down votes, but no one can tell me why I'm wrong.

Just general antisemitism and dislike for those you don't agree with?

4

u/David-S-Pumpkins Apr 26 '24

I think his behavior is what people are commenting on. He feels entitled to a space that belongs to someone else, despite the owner of said space not wanting him and his family there. And, when refused entry to that space he gets mad, calls himself the victim of antisemitism and hate, calls the owner of the space scary and violent and a threat to his children, despite being the aggressive invander himself, etc.

That's beat-for-beat Zionism behavior. Since he did all of this on camera, and identified himself as Jewish (no one else did) people are guessing. Is it silly? Sure. But then, his reaction is silly too. (And it's also scary since it can really ruin the driver's life for no reason other than following the law.)

-1

u/[deleted] Apr 26 '24

Hey man how you holding up? I saw you being victimized in this thread and wanted to check in. You ok?

0

u/d2dubbs Apr 26 '24

I'm all good, thanks for asking!

Just a bunch of little babies trying to justify their antisemitism and ignorance.

I've stated facts, they come back with anecdotes and opinions.
