Grandstanding. Plain and simple. Still a waste of everybody's time. Always has been and always will be. If you take the role of a questioner, do your job.

She is an elected representative of a state. She has innumerable opportunities to make a speech. This wasn't intended to be one of them.

Wait till you see what the people on the right have to say when it's their turn. Will you criticize them as well for what you think shouldn't take place in an official forum? I bet you won't.

Wait? Are you new here? Both sides have been grandstanding every chance they get since before you or I were born, and, like I said, it's a waste of time.

If they plan to give speeches when they accepted the job of questioner, they lied. Regardless of their (or my) party affiliation, they shouldn't be in that position to waste the important time of the legislature.
