You can feel the racist/sexist superiority complex oozing off of him.

564

u/Chary-Ka Mar 21 '24

That "Excuse Me". If he's married, I feel bad for the partner.

326

u/ATempestSinister Mar 21 '24

Sounds like the first time he's ever had someone set boundaries on him.

168

u/colfaxmingo Mar 21 '24

Oh he shouts at his family in public.

106

u/Duryism Mar 21 '24

Oh, he’s definitely led his wife out of parties roughly by the elbow.

Who would marry him...?

Mitch Mcconnell: Married twice

Donald Trump: Married three(!) times

Ted Cruz: Married

Matt Gaetz: Married (This one just blows my fking mind..)

Kevin Mccarthy: Married

Jim Jordan: Married

Ron DeSantis: Married

Josh Hawley: Married

I mean, I could go on, but it's clear that being a terrible human being is absolutely, no impediment whatsoever to getting married.

4

u/TheMightyPrince Mar 22 '24

Matt Gaetz is married! Wait, what? I hadn't checked but just assumed, from the trafficking a young girl for sex thing, that he was single. His wife must be the forgiving type.

12

u/According-Pin-6623 Mar 21 '24 edited Apr 11 '24

What sane woman would marry these sleazebags? Matt Gaetz? He's like a wanted poster for sex crimes.

Mitch, the Tennessee snapping turtle. Who the hell would want to hook up with that thing? Same for the rest of the list.

Who would I least want to have sex with? That's a tough call. Most are boring old racist white guys.

Gaetz would be more like I'd be under him, after having been given GHB or Rohypnol or something, in a college dorm or at his rich guy mansion. Rapey and creepy asf.

Either way, total fail from all of these lovely gentlemen.

18

u/Telefundo Mar 21 '24

Gaetz is the one that boggles my mind the most. Even if you took away all the accusations and such of sexual deviance. Take ALL that away, the guy just looks like a sex offender. I know I know, a book and it's cover, but seriously.. The man just oozes "scumbag".

2

u/Sdot_greentree420 Mar 22 '24

Trust me just like they make s***** men they make s***** women that eat this rhetoric up too

1

u/swifttek360 Mar 22 '24

It's probably because they have crazy money

4

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '24

Yes. Many women are abused and controlled by men with power. Yes. That's a thing that happens. Not surprising at all.

2

u/Telefundo Mar 21 '24

That was exactly the point I was making?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '24

Yeah, I was emphasizing your point.

2

u/Telefundo Mar 21 '24

Ahh, my bad. It's hard to tell on Reddit :D

1

u/Lopsided_Panic_1148 Mar 22 '24

Didn't Hawley's wife divorce him not long after the wedding?

2

u/Telefundo Mar 22 '24

Honestly, can't be bothered to look it up. But the fact that he was married in the first place supports my position.

1

u/Lopsided_Panic_1148 Apr 05 '24

Oh, never mind. I was thinking of someone else.

1

u/TheDudeV1 Mar 22 '24

Me: single as fuuuuuuuck

2

u/Telefundo Mar 22 '24

I'm sorry, but this was the biggest laugh of my week. I absolutely feel that my friend lol.

2

u/CarefulIndication988 Mar 21 '24

Probably more like, by the scruff of her neck. He doesn’t seem like the type to use a bit of diplomacy.

1

u/FrostedDonutHole Mar 22 '24

“Why do you make me act like that in front of these people?!”

25

u/Custardpaws Mar 21 '24

The "excuse me?" Came from a man who has never once been questioned by any woman in his life. What a scumbag

12

u/CrackHeadRodeo Mar 21 '24

That's what makes this so delicious.

11

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '24

They are unfortunately conditioned to side with him.

1

u/micheal_pices Mar 22 '24

Be best, but I don't really care do u ?

5

u/nonhiphipster Mar 21 '24

What you don’t think stud is married?!

1

u/sloppysloth Mar 22 '24 edited Mar 22 '24

That “excuse me?” made my blood boil. He said it like he was taking to a child.

84

u/GallonofJug Mar 21 '24

Holy shit I came here to say that right after watching.. dam it’s so true. You can see it. Even the young men behind him.

26

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '24

I saw yesterday that they were all giddy n moving to their edge of thier seat when the witness was "firing back"... It's just sad.

46

u/GallonofJug Mar 21 '24 edited Mar 21 '24

It is. This country is ran by racist/sexist. This guys dad was prob racist and his father etc. my grandpa was born on a plantation and that was only two generations ago. So if you think about the opposite “plantation owners/racist family” teaching that same principle, it’s been passed down and these people are walking among us. In the government, police forces etc. guarantee this guys got the stupid thin blue line and don’t tread on me somewhere on his truck or house. It’s fucking sad. This country needs a massive change but I don’t think it can happen peacefully anymore. It’s just too corrupt.

Instead of Downvoting me, speak your mind. Or is it because I’m speaking the truth and I’m upsetting you?? Haha

12

u/SnooPredictions9174 Mar 21 '24

I feel the need to share an anecdote with you. To preface this all of us on the crew are close and associate outside of work. A few months ago at work my crew and I were all discussing our last names and heritage on a slow day. When it came the our black coworker his response was "I don't know my actual last name, my name was given to me 3 generations ago.". That statement really reverberated with me, my heart sank. Even the simplest things that most people wouldn't think of are a reminder of a not too distant past for the black community. I think if more people could think in those terms, we might be able to make some progress.

9

u/GallonofJug Mar 21 '24

Very true. Many took the last name of their owner. A very common last name is Freeman. Well because.. they were finally “free”. So much history behind it all. Some storys my grandpa has told me were disturbing and very interesting. I appreciate you sharing that. We see the trickle effect of what slavery has done.

7

u/SnooPredictions9174 Mar 21 '24

Thank you for taking the time to respond. It was a pleasure for me to share such a moving experience of mine. I hope that someone reads it and understands just a little more how important it is that we as a society keep improving for all people and the struggle that some still face. Grandpa's like yours are a gift, be well.

6

u/KellyCTargaryen Mar 22 '24

Want to specify, they often picked the name of the slaveowner so they could more easily reunite with their families.

6

u/angry_old_dude Mar 22 '24

That's a powerful statement. Just reading your accounting of what happened hit me in a pretty strong way.

1

u/SnooPredictions9174 Mar 22 '24

I'm glad it can resonate with other people the same way it has with me.

1

u/FEMA_Camp_Survivor Mar 21 '24

Most Black Americans have traceable European ancestry too. It’s not a badge of honor but a living reminder about how cruel slavery and the pre-civil rights era was, especially for women. There were many Thomas Jefferson’s and Senator Strom Thurmond’s throughout history.

15

u/pm_me_porn_links Mar 21 '24

The fact that you can point to only two generations shows how recent so much shit is in our history, never mind the fact that these scumbags still fly the flag of a failed rebellion. Reconstruction should have been a physical and economic bloodbath and today we would be looking at a very differently functioning country.

10

u/GallonofJug Mar 21 '24

Exactly. It hasn’t been that long since slavery in the US. I think we forget because how fast technology is moving.

2

u/janet-snake-hole Mar 22 '24

Every single word of this comment is painfully correct. Very well said.

I so badly wish we’d see actual progress being made…

0

u/SG_665667 Mar 21 '24

I only downvoted you because you complained about being downvoted, which is what I always do to people who whine about imaginary internet points--regardless of whether or not I agree with what they've written.

Reddit isn't real life. Grow a pair.

2

u/GallonofJug Mar 21 '24

But what I’m saying is real life. Im not whining, I’m encouraging people to at least have a conversation about what I’m saying. Rather than a downvote and moving on.

It’s not my strong suit I will be the first to admit that..but you must have read what I said and that’s all you have to say about it? Tells me a lot

2

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '24

I love when they latch on to that one single to Typo lol

5

u/GallonofJug Mar 21 '24

Yeah they totally missed the message.. not that they even want to understand where I’m coming from.. or where many people are coming from when talking about this topic.

Did you watch the video?? See how they’re reacting? I’m just adding the pieces up. I honestly feel like my assumptions of this man and the dudes behind him are 100% correct. Sure I could be 100% wrong but what are you defending?? Did what I say strike a nerve in you? Do you have a few of those decals on your vehicle or the snake flag on your house?

Ha yeah I def hit close to home. The whole idea of that flag and the symbolism of it is changing as we speak, being waved by racist, maga clowns. Same with anyone who has “patriot” on their clothing or “we the people”. We can have a civil conversation without the name calling. Don’t get so upset.

1

u/Hondadork89 Mar 21 '24

To think, man this persons grammer really messed with me, so much that I forgot how to spell grammar.

1

u/MaximusDecimis Mar 21 '24

Yeah, it’s hard to watch, you can see how unseriously they take her

-1

u/KakLadder Mar 21 '24

just assuming then?

4

u/GallonofJug Mar 21 '24

Watch the video. They can’t handle a black women telling them to be quiet. “Excuse me”.. if this was in a different setting I guarantee I would’ve ended differently.

-2

u/KakLadder Mar 21 '24

What difference does the colour of her skin make?

84

u/Loggerdon Mar 21 '24

You can practically see steam coming out of his ears.

27

u/Relevant-Strategy-14 Mar 21 '24

Exactly. He felt like the could say or do anything while she was speaking and she was having none of that!!!

35

u/flirtingwithdanger Mar 21 '24

Thank you. And for those wondering, this is a great example of Misogynoir.

His indignation at being told to be quiet by someone he holds contempt towards is almost palpable.

19

u/kingofthemonsters Mar 21 '24

Misogynoir

Is that a weapon in lord of the rings?

13

u/Accend0 Mar 22 '24

It's a term for those scenes in old detective movies where the protagonist slaps a woman for being hysterical.

1

u/Illustrious_Plane489 Mar 22 '24

It's actually Thor's trusty hammer.

5

u/hilarymeggin Mar 21 '24

You totally can!! “How am I getting humiliated by this person I ought to be capable of intimidating?”

9

u/-InterestingTimes- Mar 21 '24

It's crazy how heavily weighted those few words were. You can almost read his thoughts when he said excuse me.

8

u/BuddahSack Mar 21 '24

Ding ding ding! You got it!!! I've seen that smugness first hand so many times and I'm white. People like him are just seething that she is telling him what's up haha

14

u/Prime_Marci Mar 21 '24

You can feel his ego bruising … ouch

17

u/muklan Mar 21 '24

And she's just got no goddamn time for it, which I think we can all appreciate.

7

u/TeslaCrna Mar 21 '24

Yea, she sounded very professional. I can’t believe he had the nerve to say “is that a question “. She had every right to get mad and lash out at him.

1

u/numb3r51nmyn4m3 Mar 22 '24

That's what he wanted. He could then point to her being "hysterical" and waste her time/testimony. Shitheads like that aren't dumb. That's a big mistake to make. They do it to purposefully hide and move on because no one will remember what she said, just how she reacted.

1

u/Final_Candidate_7603 Mar 22 '24

Congresswoman Crockette is a firecracker! Search for her on YouTube- she’s a Democrat from Texas, an attorney, and she eats people like this guy for lunch. She knows the facts, the rules, and the law. She has said in Committee hearings ‘we know y’all Republicans are LIARS.’

Meanwhile, old racist white guys like him can only sputter in indignation- and then give up.

2

u/0ne0h Mar 21 '24

Yep. If there was a maga shitbird draft, that dude goes in the first round.

2

u/emaxsaun Mar 22 '24

He’s a pig

4

u/DrDrangleBrungis Mar 21 '24

That and his fragile masculinity.

3

u/tropicbrownthunder Mar 21 '24

I was expecting him to explode in a rush of slurs

1

u/HungryScratch1910 Mar 22 '24

"Hey Siri, show me a video of pointless grandstanding by a politician..."

1

u/Fitty4 Mar 21 '24

Real talk 🤣🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Legal_Guava3631 Mar 21 '24

Phew, thought it was just me that felt it.

1

u/rdyer347 Mar 21 '24

Lol he does not like being spoken to like a child by a black woman much younger than him.

2

u/Garbogulus Mar 22 '24

Indeed. Maybe he shouldn't act like one in the first place, and should learn his place in this world.

0

u/sm00thkillajones Mar 21 '24

We need more of this in congress! Blue wave baby!

-3

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '24

Her*

There, I fixed it for you.

1

u/Garbogulus Mar 21 '24

You clearly do not understand the context of the video whatsoever. Nor did you watch it, it would seem. You should stop getting your ideas from your ass, and start pulling them from your brain.

Maybe your problem is they are in the same place.

0

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '24

I watched it. And I understand what happened. Maybe you should watch it again? Or at least once?

There's no reason to be argumentative and insulting. Try and be better.

1

u/Garbogulus Mar 22 '24

Lol you're funny. Try again. If you can't see how he's being a total narcissist, you are probably one yourself. I get it, you find him relatable, and so you took offense to my comment. Look inward.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '24

You seem like a really angry person. You lack the ability to have a conversation without insulting someone who has a different opinion than you.

Maybe you need to talk to a professional? Someone who can help identify why you have the anger you do?

1

u/Garbogulus Mar 22 '24

"Did you mean..." this, "you seem like..." that.

I do not give a single shit what you have to say to be quite honest. Your initial comment proved to me that you're too inept to even understand the context of the video you're commenting on, and that you're likely a racist sympathizer or something along the lines.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '24

Well, you obviously want to live that angry life style. So you do you. Hopefully you do get help some day before you realize you wasted your life bring angry for no reason.

Go support your racist and sexist leaders.

Have a great angry life.

1

u/Garbogulus Mar 22 '24

You're truly misguided. I wish this best for you and that you one day are free of your ineptitude.

No, I will not support racism and sexism. Thank you very much. Go back to your hole, racist troll.

Trolling and acting in bad-faith will result in commentary removal. Sophistry is included in this category. Concern trolling and "useful idiots" are included in this category. Apologia for immoral crimes against other humans by using obfuscation and intellectualization will result in an immediate suspension. Promoting dehumanization and inequality by supporting immoral policy or laws will result in an immediate suspension. All humans are equal.

0

u/KakLadder Mar 21 '24

what are you for real?

1

u/Garbogulus Mar 22 '24

Yes? If you can't see it, there's seriously a problem with your optics on life.

0

u/youngestOG Mar 22 '24

How in your mind is what this dude did in this video racist or sexist?

2

u/Garbogulus Mar 22 '24

The indignation in his voice in response to his PEER and EQUAL, who has ALOTTED TIME just like he does, to not allow him to randomly interrupt her. In fact, the fact alone that he thinks he had a right to interrupt her at all shows that he's so self-righteous and believes himself to be such an authority over his peers that he can break the offical rules of communication in this setting to go back and forth with her like a toddler. It's some combination of a racist and sexist mentality, combined with extreme narcissism. Is that a good enough explanation for you buddy?

0

u/Automatic_Bedroom_33 Mar 22 '24

You talking about her right?

1

u/Garbogulus Mar 22 '24

No, but bad try.

0

u/[deleted] May 18 '24

How can one start to feel this?

1

u/Garbogulus May 18 '24

Well firstly, you need to have a sense of empathy and sympathy and consideration for people in this world around you, and it helps to have experience with racists in America for context.

-2

Why, bcos she happens to be a black woman and he happens to be a white man?

1

u/Garbogulus Mar 22 '24

If you can't see it, there's a serious problem with your view on life.

0

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '24

I don’t know the context of the video, I’m just going off what I see. I don’t judge people based on the color of people’s skin or their sex. They’re both being snippy, but he’s wrong bcos he’s a white man talking to a black woman? It’s ok when she does it but not when he does it?

1

u/Garbogulus Mar 23 '24

Go back and reread that first sentence you wrote. It answers your question. They have alloted time to be more specific. Other people are to speak when spoken to, that's the whole point. He has no right to speak in the first place here, and to be indignant about it on top of that shows that there's some underlying reason as to why he acts that way. I don't even have to know who this person is to be able to easily guess its a racist, sexist, republican knob head.
