Meatball Ron strikes again

u/Horroroscope May 21 '23

Sure Disney is bad, but Disney fighting DeSantis? Talk about dinner and a show.

Florida shooting itself in the foot.

u/Devilcrow27 May 21 '23

That's a change from shooting schools

u/Difficult-Yard-1342 May 21 '23

Latino Brown power 👊🏼

All of the builders left Florida, he just realized no one is left to do the work. He's not smart, he just knows they can't afford American labor doing something that the illegal workers can do. They will just wait it out. Once DeSantis is gone.

2

u/[deleted] May 22 '23

This is exactly why.

3

u/DrPineapple32 May 22 '23

I'm pretty sure the head of Disney parks is smart.

5

u/BLoDo7 May 22 '23

I'm also pretty sure knowing that you cant afford something and waiting for a time when you arent being screwed over by a vindictive man-baby is also a smart move.

At least, that's how that other person described it.

1

u/IwearBrute May 22 '23

Yep, looks that way.

35

u/DalDe05 May 21 '23

Florida is literally killing itself right now how do people vote for these types of incompetent idiots?

32

u/britch2tiger May 21 '23

Republicans hate their enemies more than they love their communities.

5

u/Preseli May 21 '23

Same reason people vote for a monorail in North Haverbrook.

2

u/nmddl May 21 '23

There ain’t no Disney here and there never was!

12

u/chrisjjones316 May 21 '23

Gotta love the “small government” GOP!

20

u/scootterbug1 May 21 '23

Way to go morons. Keep voting red!

DeSantis would rather spend time on Disney and immigrants than he would on guns, the floods were dealing with in the south, and the lack of gas and food were receiving. High ass prices, traffic in every corner, and retards with trump flags still on their car. Welcome to my side of the world, in Miami of all places in Florida.

Wasn't there a documentary recently that showed how people who work at Disney in Florida have to live in hotels and their cars?

Oh yeah, they do live in their cars! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTuzG7leTis

5

u/ConscientiousObserv May 21 '23

Thanks for the link. It's actually about Disneyland in California but just as sad.

8

u/Traditional_Art_7304 May 21 '23

That reminds me, I’m gonna need to buy more popcorn. The interactions between meatball ron & the orange shitgibbon will be great theater & seeing the GQP’s mental gymnastics to make this all normal - priceless.

u/Plus-Result-7451 May 21 '23

Disney didn't pull out because of the gays. They left because their is no workforce in Florida

2

u/mj281 May 21 '23

Exactly, they couldn’t exploit illegal immigrants anymore, so they’ve realised it’s going to cost them a lot more.

6

u/juanjing May 22 '23

There are lots of reasons to leave Florida.

u/ComparisonGeneral825 May 21 '23

'david' desantis is preparing to announce... i guffawed

4

u/Rollotommasi5 May 21 '23

Good for them :)

3

u/[deleted] May 21 '23

Any DeSantis running for public office:

3

u/Any_Pie_3070 May 21 '23

Future headlines news' " Florida is the first state to go bankrupt". Good, screw the Governor. Vote him out.

1

u/iate11donuts May 21 '23

I mean after that failed hotel...

-4

u/RSanti2001 May 21 '23

Disney has been firing employees , closing the Star cruiser and has had falling stock … blame Desantis on that ?

Weird, I heard npr spin this story as part of the feud between Ronald and Disney

0

u/Extreme_Design6936 May 21 '23

Desantis really fucked up on that one. But I agree with him on one thing. Disney has way too much power, especially in Florida, and should play by the same rules as everybody else. I just don't like the rules Desantis is making everyone play by.

0

u/youmosh May 22 '23

More power to em, literally, the power these idiots have given corporations for 50 years.

-12

u/Dazzling-Repair-7580 May 21 '23

Disney is trash

9

u/britch2tiger May 21 '23

You may think ‘Disney is trash’ for being rainbow capitalist, most think ‘Disney is trash’ for not giving their staff a wage high enough to NOT live in their car.

The right does hate gays.

-17

u/wellaby788 May 21 '23

That deal probably wasn't gunna happen anyways, they are cutting cost as a company.. just wanted to make it more political

8

u/Magnusing May 21 '23

You are incorrect. I work there and can attest we were full steam ahead on Lake Nonna until DeSantis fucked himself.

-7

u/wellaby788 May 21 '23

So a company cutting billions of dollars was still going to spend billions? How is that cutting costs? Unless your way up in the food chain I doubt you know what's going on in Disney especially since you live in California

-6

u/Intelligent-Sweet-46 May 21 '23

That's unforgivable. It's jobs.

-2

u/GukkiSpace May 21 '23

I shorted them on Thursday…

1

u/Irvgotti455 May 22 '23

Thanks Ron.

1

u/Quick_Swing May 22 '23

To think that DeSantis cares, that’s funny.
