Games will adapt to 16:10, it's a much better aspect ratio for anything else.

Also most movies aren't 16:9, they have black bars.

But if you play CS or Valorant in 16:10 actually you have less sideview, you get the same 16:9 but with less space on the sides

Last time I played CS I had a 4:3 CRT- I think you can manage with the tiny difference between 16:9 and 16:10. The 16:10 ratio also has been a common thing like 15 years ago because movies aren’t actuall 16:9 and almost every software profits from the extra vertical space. Minus angle holding shooters.

I prefer 17"+ laptops personally. Problem is majority consumers like 15 and 16 because they are easily more portable.

Why? Does it also break your immersion that the screen has a bezel around it?
