No Diddy - Synonym of no homo (“used immediately before or after a statement to indicate that there was no homosexual meaning intended, especially when such a meaning is a reasonable interpretation

It's insecure because you can't even tell your family you love them without putting distance between any interpretation of expressing love as homosexual.

Clearly you've never read much up on history. Men showing emotions has been frowned upon for a long ass time. Such a sad thing to see, but in today's day and age us men are way more able to openly be emotional than ever before. Go back 60 years and tell your male friend you love them and see how quickly they call you a homophobic slur.
