Yo... imagine if Patchouli was the original owner of the estate, but then decided to just retire to her library and transferred ownership to her two trusted vampire maids.

Illustrator is Teoi.

And don't worry. She later took it pretty well.

Isn’t that basically the plot of the first case in “This is the Hifuu Detective Agency”, except, spoilers, that the scarlet “sisters” were originally summoned demons of Patchouli’s & that she made a deal with Remilia to let her be in charge of the mansion so that she would control & pretend to be the sister of the demon that patchouli was too weak to control beyond a bit of memory alteration, Flandre.

Inconsistensies are not exactly new in Touhou, but this is just the pinnacle. I have never seen any depictions of Remilia that even hints on a dark purple hair color like this one.
