🆘 Help Me 2024 Subaru Impreza seats

Hello, just bought a Subaru Impreza and really like it. My only issue is the stock seat. I opened the back and I see it has a big plastic piece but not sure how it removes? It’s about half the length of the seat and looks like it presses onto the steel frame? It feels to firm right now, didn’t want to wreck something after only having it 24 hours. Is it best to go to an upholstery shop for advice?

I'd go back to the dealer to have it removed.

They don’t think they can remove it since it’s structure for the seat. Going to stop by on Monday if they can’t I’ll talk to an upholstery shop.
