Resting Heart Rate

I received a health notification on my phone saying my resting heart rate decreased over the past 6 days. Small wins!

Great job!

My HR was one of my obsessions during active addiction— I would check it all day long and it would rarely drop below 115. I would constantly feel like my heart was jumping out of my chest.

It’s always 70-90 now.

It’s still a little things that keep us sober

In seven months, I went from 105-110 to 60-75. I also recommend measuring your blood pressure, you might be surprised.

In my case, it went from very high values to normal levels after about a month of sobriety.

It's incredible how the body can recover even after 20 years of daily poisoning.. 💪

When I first started this journey my normal pressure was 180/100. I was on amlodipine 10. I ditched the meds after my first stint of sobriety.

It is within normal limits now without meds! I was a daily drinker of A LOT of boxed wine. I keep having some slip ups here and there which turn into binges.

Heres to another sober journey for me! Not far in, but feeling great
