Migraine is gone, cats are eating temptations

Cats are now fully medicinal and can be deducted on next year's taxes (I am not a tax professional).

Nurse Okapi is on the job! 😍

The frequency of a cat’s purr promotes healing so it wouldn’t surprise me. Plus cuddling with a kitty reduces stress so that helps.

It’s a nice feeling, but a migraine is a migraine and any noise during the peak of a bad episode sucks.

That said, mine have gotten milder over the years. I’ve had them for over 15 years, but a dingus for only 5.

Yeah that’s true.

I think it does? I used to lay my cat on my face and visualize all the pain getting swept up and out like a little tornado. Idky but it did help.

I love Okapi's name. It just radiates cuteness!

He’s a ticked tabby so he king of looks like an Okapi

That's clever! I also have a ticked tabby, and I call her Rat, for that same motive. (I'm not American, that's just a stripped blanket)

As a fellow migraine sufferer and I will tell you they get exponentially worse with perimenopause…cats are magic. Purrs help, even them just sitting next to help.

I’m smell sensitive during my migraines so I have to draw the line at stinky cat breath. But otherwise cats should be considered migraine relief.

I’m really lucky and only get the bad ones once a year at this point, but the Catalopes were extremely helpful…and also prevented me from lowering the blinds.

I used to call my cat my migraine kitty. She would sit on my chest and purr as I cuddled her. It was relaxing and gave the drugs a chance to do their work.

I’ve found they do, if only because I am soothed by the sounds. My cats come to lie with me and purr when I have one, and it’s really sweet.

Okapis are my favorite animal, I love that you named them that! 😭

His adopted sister (orange tabby) is Bongo. Collectively they are The Catalopes! (I am aware Okapis are a giraffe)

I have to sleep them off, but a SIC purring alongside sure helps.

Idk. Mine tried the opposite last night. My left eye started feeling real stabby before bed. I took my meds and passed out hoping that it wouldn’t set in. At about 4:37am, SOMEONE decided to do a WWE finisher off the curtain rod onto the bed. I awoke to the abrupt feeling of her being knee deep in my fucking eye socket.

It didn’t work. 0/10 recommend. The migraine is here.

My condolences friend. Cats are great but boy can they be major a-holes sometimes. Lol feel better

You can use Turmeric, it’s very good for cat migraines! 😻

I think the human is the one with the migraines here.

My cat seems to believe purring will heal whatever ails me, she curls up with me and just purrs away whenever I don't feel good. Idk if it actually physically helps but it sure helps emotionally lol.

I swear the frequency of purring does help! Yesterday I had to go and lie down because of a sudden migraine, and one of my cats basically wrapped herself around my head. The purrs were very soothing. The vigorous sandpaper grooming, less so.
