How did you like the EP4? Just ordered a pair to add to the rotation.

I liked them a lot until race day, but I'm not sure any other shoe would have performed significantly better considering the conditions. It was wet and very slick, especially on the climbs. I was surprised at how little traction I got.

I ran a half in the same training cycle that even had gravel sections, and they were great though, on a dry day.

Was about to ask about the traction. In my EP4 I even felt it at water stations where people spilled their water during a dry half marathon. Decided I’ll race in them when it’s dry but just go for my Superblast 2s when it’s raining since my feet and joints don’t do well with sliding around. SB2s aren’t the greatest when it comes to grip either but the compromise seems good enough for me

They’re great. Easily my favorite half tights. I have 8 unused gels in the pockets in the picture.
