Amazon Wish List Nurse Mittens
Hi Friends!
I'm sorry that I haven't posted in a while. All the kittens and cats are doing great! β€οΈ
My partner had another hospitalization and surgery last week, and then I came down with a virus, so I've been in bed mostly with a cough, runny nose and chills. The covid test was negative, thankfully.
The first pic is Nurse Mittens. She's my kitty cat nurse.β€οΈ The kitties seem to know that I'm ill because they've been laying on me and taking care of me. Mittens licked my cheek and fell asleep on my chest. These cats are the best, so full of love.
I still haven't had a chance to put up the catio because of my partner's hospitalizations, broken leg and dialysis schedule, plus my own recent illness.
However, there's good news! My sister got me a staple gun to reinforce the wire on the catio. We plan on setting up the catio once I feel better and don't feel as weak as I do now.
This year, I actually made an effort to set up a Christmas treeπ in the hopes that it will cheer everyone up. The kitties are very intrigued by it. Mittens absolutely loves it!
If anyone is able to help our kittens and cats, we're in need of kitty litter and dry cat food.
We had to redo the amazon wishlist, because we couldn't re-add the litter to the original list. So, the old, original list had to be deleted, and a whole new Pepsi's Wishlist started.
We wanted to thank each and every one of you, and wish you Happy Holidays, and we wish Peace and Love for you and your loved ones. β€οΈππβοΈβΈοΈβοΈ

She does! She's such a sweet, empathetic girl β₯οΈ Mittens is the daughter of a longtime feral. When she was a baby, we acclimatedher to humans, and she was fixed. Mittens stayed a feral, but friendly cat in my neighborhood for about 5 years, before we knew more about fostering and adopting out friendly ferals.
Unfortunately, she was constantly bullied by the other feral cats in the neighborhood. I started to coax her into coming inside on cold or wet days, for a few hours at a time.
After a few months, Mittens began to come inside every night and actually stay til morning. She did destroy a screen trying to get back outside, though.
It took 2 years, but she finally became a totally inside girl! Her stinky, stinky farts stopped once she stayed indoors 24/7. It has been about 3 years now. I can't believe how time flies.
I have so many Mittens stories. When she still lived outdoors, she befriended my daughter's tiny, scared rescue chihuahua, Janie when we would take her out to do her business.
Janie was terrified of everything, and she would stand on our lawn shaking. Mittens would gently walk up to her and then rub her body along Janie's side.
Mittens is truly a beautiful soul β₯οΈππ
