If anyone sent any deliveries to me that arrived today, the amazon driver may have stolen it, also i received a trap! Thank you!

Ive been getting a lot of deliveries on random days throughout the month, ive been meaning to say some kind soul sent me a live trap! There was no note but whomever you are thank you from the bottom of my heart, this was yesterday? Day before?

Today, i heard the amazon truck pull up, i heard the person walk up my stairs, drop something heavy on the porch then leave and drive away, i was getting dressed at the time to go and get it and didn't bother looking out the window, however when i arrived outside, there was nothing there, so please please please if anyone sent anything that arrived on december 24th, and report it as not delivered, idk who mightve sent whatever it was but you do not deserve to have your money wasted on a christmas thief

Could also be a porch pirate. Some stalk the vans when they see a decent shape and heft they go and steal it after the driver leaves. I'd invest in a camera. Even if it's one inside the window to point outside!

I one time came outside right after a delivery, and a random van had pulled up right before i went outside, when it saw me it drove away, but yea, folks stalking deliveries for sure happen, if i was 1 minute to slow they could've gotten my stuff, which, idk if amazon refunds stolen goods

Is there a way for you to see what deliveries you are expecting? Ive never had a wishlist on amazon so im not sure. If theres not a way on your end i would ask anyone who has sent you anything to check their orders and see if they can report the package missing if it says delivered today.

I dont think im able to check unless it was something on the wishlist, if someone sent something not on the wishlist then.. Maybe i can try asking customer service if they can see if anything was sent to my address?

You can contact them and ask. Tell them you have donations all the time and someone asked you if you received a package today because it shows it was delivered. But nothing was there.

Amazon unfortunately could not help me without the order ID or tracking number, i guess all i can really do is ask around to try to find out what i can, and if i can find who and amazon is unwilling to, I'll gladly refund them for whatever this lost mystery item is, i just need to find who...

Crazy that they can't say "yes 2. We will contact the buyers and told them it was stolen" but at the same time... why set themselves up to have to refund 😒 they don't care

Amazon can be so difficukt with refunds sometimes...

The one single time i tried buying furniture from amazon it cam snapped in half, sending it back was such a massive hassle... and ive seen worse horror stories about how hard they'll fight a refund 😭

Amazon and Amazon Prime sub is full of them! I refuse to return. I'd rather resell myself.

Especially all the ones 'lost in transit'. Or 'we got it but it will take x time to refund' and it never does.

If its a gift then i wont be able to see the photo, at least, i dont believe im able to? but contacting amazon right now to see if i can find any info about it, had to finish up chores and cat feeding. I realllly hope the amazon driver didn't take the pic then steal it.. Crossing my fingers that they just had the wrong address and came onto my porch thinking it was for this house.

I talked to customer service, they say they couldnt do anything without a tracking number, but as far as im aware only whomever the mystery sender is will have this tracking number.

I hope i can find out who nystery sender is, because if amazon doesn't refund rhen I'll gladly pay them back 😭
