COMMUNITY APPRECIATION π Donna is overwhelmed with gratitude and joy. Her cats are well fed, thanks to all of you!
Update to https://www.reddit.com/r/rescuecats/s/wAhRsPmxo4 From Donna: βI am so grateful I have no worries to struggle to feed those colony cats for quite a while now. Two weeks ago I was going thru old pocketbooks for change to buy some cans for them. Please forward a HUGE thank you to all the kind people that sent something. These are such amazing people. Everyone of them is so special to the colony cats and I. Words cannot describe the outpouring of all the individual, caring people that donated something. The colony cats and I are forever appreciative, grateful and so thankful for this help. Without these donations the cats were fed very sparingly. Thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart. I am forever grateful for you! β€ππ€π½ππ±πββ¬ππ» β€ β€π€π€π€π€π€Hug β

Absolutely floored. This is amazing. Donna and the kitties are so deserving. I hope she is able to use her money on herself for a bit since the cats are covered! β€οΈβ€οΈ

I didnβt realize before this how much she was truly struggling. I imagine she herself has gone hungry regularly to feed the cats. Seems she gets to have a full belly too ππ₯² thank you for the love

Do you think we can try to do this for another foster mom? I mean, I'm sure there are others who could use this kind of attention and gifts-let's pick someone we can do this with again?!! WDUT?

I wish I was a millionaire or billionaire so I'd have a lot of spare money to support animals

Itβs so nice to tear up because of the goodness of people for a change. Usually itβs cu something sad or painful has happened. But just seeing the outpouring of support for a stranger is so heartwarming. To everyone that donated, you are a gift, A true light in this world.

I sent Donna a screenshot of these comments (including yours!) and she said:
βI just read thru the comments, they brought tears to my eyes, such wonderful, caring, kind hearted people that have reached out. I am forever grateful β€ I have a special place in my heart for the colony cats that I feed. Among the ferals there are those that I can tell were once in a home and cared for, now finding themselves fending on their own. That is where I stepped up about 8 years ago. I started with taking over two colonyβs that an 80 year old woman was struggling to feed. Iβve always tried to make the colony cats miserable lives they are forced to live, just a little bit better! I really do care for every single cat that I feed and will always do the best I can for them for as long as I can. Each and every one of their lives matters to me.β

I simply do $20 here and there! It adds up but it's closer to $100 than $500 so I can deal!

That's great. All the help you received. I have gotten 3 shipments like this one, after asking for help. On rescue cats. I am on S.S. and disabled taking care of a 60 cat colony and 20 rescue cats. This is beyond what I expected !
