Success Story/Happy Ending The difference between the hard Street life and the good life
Rescued this cute little girl and her mama from a junk yard. She wouldn't get within 10 feet of me, but followed when I would go to feed her. Trapped her right after her mama, I felt bad she was living all alone but I couldn't let mama get pregnant again! She took a long time to trust, but you can see the stress in her face just faded away. π₯° Now she has a BFF!

They're gorgeous! And you're right, the anxiety on their faces is gone. It's nice when a cat just get to cat. Good job!! β€οΈ

Thank you for the title of this post. I am struggling extremely right now because I have four cats that I TNRd and the intent was always to get them in a rescue. I was told the other day that there is room (for two) now. I am in a lot of emotional pain because I don't know who I'm going to take in first and I'm going to miss them and feel guilty because I have to separate them. I know "street life" isn't safe for them. This is just so hard.

I'm so glad you've found a resource and stay positive because they may take the others very soon! That would be a hard decision, but listen to your heart in deciding who needs to go first. Don't be sad, any number of circumstances on the street can separate them tragically, this is a beautiful separation. And it's ok to miss the ones you love, letting them go makes room to help moreπ. Be happy for yourself, you've achieved your goal and you are doing a wonderful thing! We always miss the ones that go, it's just a testament to the love you poured into your work.. π

Two of them went to the rescue today. I'm feeling pretty sad because I miss them and the other two miss them. I came back to read your comment to remember why I did this. A beautiful separation, right? If you are a praying person please pray that they can take the others soon and they will be reunited.

It's bittersweetπ I will pray that those babies can be rescued also. You did a great thing. Remember, you did it for them to have a spoiled, comfy, warm, carefree, loving home, it's a very selfless thing to pour your heart and soul into their care π

Aw so cute. Looks so much better. Do you have mama and baby? Thank you so much for rescuing them both. Inside is so much better. π
