I really need help with this, i have been servhing for a perfect woodpecker in all the map and i dont find one, i can hear them near Straw Berry, BUT I CANT SEE THEM!!!, how can i hunt one in a easy form?

Benji was my trusty steed in my first playthrough when the game came out. Killed in Chapter 3, by Lemoyne Raiders in an ambush by that covered bridge leading to the swamp. Fly high, Benji - there never was a better horse.

Says restores health core and stamina core but restores deadeye core, just wondering if anyone else ever caught this lol.

I mean he's a rat and he's an asshole but idk there's something I like about him...he kinda reminds me of Trevor, who is one of my favourite characters from GTAV. Idk I always end up liking the bad guys in movies and stuff, like Draco Malfoy, Darth Vader and the Joker.

Hello there, i was thinking to do the 100%, and i like yo hear your experiences doing this, i have a long trail to do, i am in the chapter V and only have the 55.5%

[I have seen some of this being shared so just adding my experience]

I’d like to add how I did it (only started playing the game two days ago).

I went to their refinery and used my binoculars. Saw what they were wearing so I thought I’d go to the Valentine general dealer and buy the same clothes because we you get to the refinery, one of the guards says something like “If you are not from Cornwall, you are not allowed here.” I thought if I have their attire, maybe they will allow me to just walk in and ride out with the wagon.

I rode to Valentine but the general dealer didn’t have the attire, I guess makes sense - it’s company provided. In my disappointment, I checked the map so I can put a marker back to the refinery and then I saw that one of the wagons had come to Valentine to supply some oil on one of the buildings just round the corner from the general store. What luck! I After supplying, the rider rode off with the wagon assuming back to the refinery. So I followed it and when we were a distance from Valentine and with no traffic around, I shot the driver and took over the wagon. 😂

I have finished the RDR2 main story a few times, but this is the first play through where I’m committed to getting 100%. I just barely finished the gambler challenges which already made me question life decisions, and now I have the privilege of navigating through alligator landmines to look for Egrets and Flowers. Egrets are stupid, flowers are stupid, Algernon is a lazy asshole.

the desanta and luisa missions were so fucking unnecessary. all of abraham and landon ricketts missions basically spell out the landscape of mexico. the rebels are locked in a back and forth with the army and reyes is the figurehead for rebel victory in escalera, landon is the local law who takes care of the bandits in chuparosa. everything else was so unnecessary considering both abraham and landon provide missions that fulfil the "cowboy adventure" style and are the only two real ways to find bill and javier.

So, I finished the game about a week ago, and I've had some time to mull it over. It's an incredible game (not that y'all need to be told that) and I would definitely rate it as one of, if not my favorite (it's close between it and Baldur's Gate 3). Here are some things I thought about:

• Roanoke Ridge should've been its own state. It's got a completely different vibe from the rest of New Hanover. While NH is mostly based on Montana and the Dakotas (imo), Roanoke Ridge clearly derives its style from the Appalachian Mountains, and West Virginia in particular. It has two cities, and a chapter that would take place in it, so it'd be more involved than West Elizabeth.
• I'm not sure why the gang moved south to Lemoyne in Chapter 3 and not up north to the East Grizzlies. Lemoyne is the most civilized part of the map, with half the state being a huge city. An awful place to hide out, especially for 3 chapters. The East Grizzlies are way more rural, far from anyone, and much less snowy than Colter.
• The ending didn't really get to me much? IDK why. I didn't feel very sad after it, tbh. Maybe that's a good thing? I guess Arthur's death didn't really come as a surprise, and It wasn't very melancholy. Micah and Dutch recieved no penance, and it didn't really feel like it ended much of anything. Not that shocking considering it's a prequel, so it really can't end it, but still.
• Bill has absolutely no plot relevance. I remember him from a single quest (the one with Micah in chapter 6) and even then he doesn't do anything. That interaction was weird, though, as I figured from his harshness toward Micah he'd be set up to be a potential ally for Arthur and John, but then he turns around and tells Arthur to do as he says. I guess he's just an asshole.
• Charles is zaddy, but I figure that was obvious
• I love how involved the Wapiti get in chapter 6. It's such a natural way for Arthur to put some good into the world, however little it actually helps.
• Arthur, at the end of the day, did not redeem himself (even with high honor) but I don't think that was really his goal. His conversation with Ms. Downes shows that he doesn't really think he can be saved. His "redemption" was just saving those he thought were too innocent. (John, Abigail, Tilly, Jack, etc)

I had a lot more stuff to say but it's currently slipping my mind. Oh well. I've already started a new playthrough, and I do plan to finish the epilogue to finally kill Micah (I got to the part where Uncle is saved from the Skinner Brothers before I lost interest).

This is my first time playing the game actually and not just murdering people hahah, I had it on Xbox one as well now playing on pc. Not sure why it took me so long, I’ve been going through a lot lately and this game has been great for me, very relaxing and captivating. I 100% every game I play that I really enjoy and this is my new favorite as mentioned; by rockstar that is. Absolutely love it.

I randomly stumbled upon so much goodies without watching any YouTube at all, I got the white Arabian randomly. As well as all the case guns.. I think ? 🤔 😉

Anyway, I’d be interested in any suggestions for money, any horses to grab as I have the white boahh stabled while I search for more horses. Love the amount of coats, currently on a brindle thorough I stole from strawberry stables, it led to a massacre and pile of lawmen while I spammed health cures and manically rifled through their hats lol. The bounty is 1320$ if someone knows how to go about that? Would you recommend killing some Of them cowards and stealing their horses? The douchebag valentine sheriff killed my Ardennes from a hunter 😂

Unfortunately I missed out on the Brontë glitch and the carcano uncle as I wanted that mustang & gun bad lol, if anyone knows how to grab it as Arthur id appreciate that! If not I’ll grab it on my evil psychopath play through lol. I’m a good guy pard.

Looking for things to do in chapter 4 before progressing the story, or possible secrets to grab in missions.

Almost finished with the trapper just need quite a few robin feathers, 🦫, peccary pigs and the other island species I assume?

Looking for $$$$$, fun, secrets, and I love exploring. This game is a masterpiece.
