Speculation First time I have seen a bee hive

There’s several of them around, it’s just not very realistic for Arthur to stand there without even flinching while the hornets are all over him.

Actually he was removing them on his face

Arthur: "What is that, what is it?! Ahhh no, not the beeees! Not the bees!"

The way the bees pour like a liquid into his fucking face-Cage (haha jokes!) is still one of the funnier things I've seen in cinema.

Is there a reference I'm missing?

Dutch: “Arthur, these bees have been placed here to secure our freedom from the Pinkertons, have you completely lost faith in me? Now steal this honey for us while Micah and I keep watch.”

He can also pop health tonics/moonshine and tank pretty much infinite bullets/damage so it tracks as the game's logic goes. Hell even without tonics he can tank many shots before dying, bee/hornet stings won't do shit to em but make him mad lol

Even in cutscenes he gets blasted with a double barrel shotgun pointblank on his shoulder and then is fine a couple weeks later

he's just built different, he can open cans of food with his bare hands and guzzle them down in mere seconds and never have to shit, plus he can tank getting shot in the chest several times sooo

Hey. I’m glad you are still on here. I started playing this game again and remember how much you helped me 100 it before. Still thankful. You have sooo much knowledge about this game.

I never actual take my time that close to camp, because I'm always coming or going with a purpose. I'll have to slow down and see what else I'm missing

There's one near the factory in Annesburg too. Yeah, Arthur never reacts much other than to swat at them. Even if you blow up the hive, they'll swarm all around his head but as far as I can tell it's all just visual effects.
Pretty cool though.

There’s one right outside the horseshoe overlook..you literally have to ride past it to get into camp in chapter 2

My guess is that they were going to be more common around the map originally, and you could shoot them to attack/distract enemies below them.
But it's a little cliche. I can understand why they didn't make it a mechanic.

Yep, it's too specific of a detail for it not have been intended for something. Would have been nice if you could still get stung by them

Kinda disappointed they don’t hurt you. The idea of Arthur screaming as he’s attacked by a swarm of wasps or bees would be hilarious

I think this is just a basic model . Maybe rockstar will upgrade it and made it real in its upcoming games

I've played this game for hundreds of hours and only saw these once when I first started playing in 2018. 😂

Do they show up in photo mode? Also have you brought a hogtied person there and see if they react?

I literally found such a hive yesterday the first time as well, North East of emerald station. I tried to interact with it but nothing. Burns pretty nicely though
