Thanks! I don’t frequent this sub very often so I didn’t know if somebody had already found it.

Always a possibility but wouldn't let that stop you from posting. While I find reposts annoying, I've also found that not everyone will see something the first time it's posted so it should never be that much of an issue.

If I’m not mistaken that same portrait is in tumbleweed saloon behind the bartender the picture is framed and has a king playing card attached too it

Merely pointing out that it does look like him from my point of view, really don't care enough to actually want to see it

Sorry for the poor quality. PS Now doesn’t allow screenshots for some reason.

I believe the general consensus is that the Strange Man is the devil? Anyways, after speaking with the Pinkertons, John and the agents go to a ship wreck to find Dutch. In the car, John mentions how he would rather have a horse than a car and says that he doesn’t like progress, etc. On the way back the car breaks down at a very unfortunate time. The Strange Man has got to be a symbol for bad luck as well right?

Huh I always thought he was God since he tests John by giving him chances to save people from sinning

well, he gives john opportunities to choose, he’s cryptic about what to choose

I don't think the strange man had to do anything with the car breaking down tbh. I personally thought it was a small comedic moment the writers intentionally wrote in since John was boasting about horses being better than cars like you mentioned and the Ross' right hand (I forget his name) assured him that cars are the future and right after that the car proceeded to break down.

There was one I read about him that I really agreed with, but it wasn’t that he was flat out the devil or evil.

It looks more like assassin John Wilkes Booth e, he was an actor so would have taken dramatic portraits like that, and he was still a bit of a hero to some people of that time period.

Old man Willy Wonka. His factory makes all the candies and chocolate bars in RDR.

Strange man scares the shit out of me, especially when he appears behind you in rdr2. One of the scariest easter egg-mystery in videogame history

I’ve done about everything there is to do in RDR2, but one of the few things is this. All you gotta do is go to a shack in Lemonye as John right?

You can go as Arthur but it makes more sense if go as John, and if you come back every day to the shack, the painting will be more clear everytime you visit it, and the scary part is when you go 4th time, strange man will appear behind you.

I'll leave it for discussion, but I recall we have previously discussed this before.

...this is the discussion

That’s not Red Harlow

Lol obviously. But when people say RDR 9.9/10 times they’re referring to Red Dead Redemption 1. When talking about Red Dead Revolver, people typically spell it outright, or just call it Revolver if they’re on a subreddit like this.
