Hardware GPU Upgrade GTX 1650 to RTX3050

Post image

Will my system bottleneck? & would the 3050 be a good upgrade for my current setup without other changes?

Getting an RTX 3050 would be a solid upgrade, as the RTX 3050 is around 70% faster than the 1650. Your cpu would only bottleneck the 3050 by around 5%, which isn’t anything to worry about. My suggestion would be to save up a little more for a 3060, which would be an even better upgrade, but as long as the 3050 is good for the games you play, I don’t see an issue. (P.S. get the 8 gb 3050)

Depends on the price. In many cases an RX 6600 costs the same or a bit less than the 3050 and performs much better.
