"If two DRAMs, please install to DIMM_A2 and DIMM_B2 slots"

If you move them over you'll get dual channel. They will work in the current configuration but you are pretty much throwing away free performance by doing so.

You could be right, but very few motherboards use A1 and B1, aka first and third slots as their primary slots, usually it's A2 and B2, aka second and fourth slots. I'd recommend you check your motherboard manual, just to be sure you're not missing out on any performance.
