to be fair im 22 and gramps is 60 so for it to be as old as me is pretty ancient.

Ancient relics I think would be games played on MS Gaming Zone or MPlayer.. Like the first Rainbow 6 or Mech Warriors, Maybe Novaworld games. Counter Strike Source, UT, WC3 were all well into online PC gaming..

Ut2k4 was a downgrade to 2k3 imo. I played the shit out of 2k3. I used to love the custom maps where you were tiny in a huge house or something doing waves of invasion. It was basically fun zombies before zombies was a thing.

I have physical NFS Carbon and the activation won't work anymore. On the other hand, its abandonware so those downloads already comes with no CD patches.

I wish they still made the boxes, even if it was only just for "collector editions" or pre-orders. I would love to have physical games again for PC (or even just a license through Steam or something lol). I still have my PC's cup holder 💀

As someone who remembers these coming out, the fun thing to do with these were to turn them to a 45 degree angle before putting them up on a shelf, then shoving them directly up your own ass. That said, brb, gotta take a Tylenol.

i just played ut2004 yesterday, love it.

Wish there were new arena shooters that let me mod the announcer, i'd have the female announcer there stat!
