The monkeys steal the dogs from their mothers when they are still puppies, and then raise them themselves so that the dogs can later guard them.

Would be interesting from a behavioral standpoint. That fur care is a social aspect for monkeys, did they just accept the dog as one of them?

Isn’t there some massive junk yard in Thailand where these guys team up regularly? I swore I saw something on that where the dogs patrol the sleeping monkeys at night to protect them and the monkeys get food for the dogs for the protection.
