I saw that. She looks alot better and seems to be inspiring people. When Adele lost a bunch of weight alot of her fans flipped out talking about she betrayed them by getting her health under control, my endocrinologists waiting room is always filled with those types of people. But that doesn't appear to be the case this time.
Yeah, and with Adele it seemed crazy sudden and she looked like she was in pain. I think that people that shame people for putting in the work to get healthy are irresponsible and seriously effed up.
I'm a young (well, not really according to my type) type 1 diabetic, I'm in with younger type 2 diabetics (type 1 is an autoimmune disease, my pancreas failed, type 2 at this age is usually weight) so we get the occasional angry heavyset person that flips out on the doctor for not considering it's anything but their weight. I get it, it's shitty and you have to make huge life changes. But there was one lady who told me I was lucky9 because I had the type that allows me to be skinny, and the doctor just wasn't looking past her weight. I'll never forget that shitty lady. Most people recognize the seriousness of their diagnosis but there are the rare few that just don't accept it and insist the doctor is wrong. The doctor is never wrong, some people's bodies can't handle all the extra weight. it's always me, an older black man, and younger people who actually have a way out of this and while most take it, some don't and they are combative as hell about it.
